Everyone wants to see Maris upset. Well, here’s the first time in the last six months since I started this page that you’re genuinely seeing me be upset. It’s not about me saying Tavia stank or advising you to ignore the barbs if they’re talking about you because they were just talking about T. It’s not even about her paying my rent. If I mentioned she paid my rent and you throw shade at me instead of addressing me directly, hold up. Not JT getting exposed for trash-talking Young Miami and Cardi B in a secret group chat. But post the phone call too. Post the phone call, JT, because you were talking about Ice Spice on the phone. At this point, JT needs to hang it up because she’s been involved in nothing but drama ever since her album dropped, and it looks like it’s only going to get worse. When she dropped her album, many people called her out for throwing shots at Cardi and even calling Cardi a flop. If that wasn’t bad enough, she just got exposed by someone from their secret group chat where she’s been talking about Young Miami and Cardi and her plans to use Nicki Minaj’s fans to boost her struggling career. This person came with all the receipts, y’all, and they were not playing with JT.

From the looks of it, JT had a falling out with them, and now they’ve decided to expose her for her nasty behavior. The only reason I’m not addressing this is because I’m trying to let her fade out and flop since her whole goal was to get the barbs talking about her anyway. I wasn’t going to speak on it because I know that’s what she wants. This entire mess started a few days ago when JT dropped her highly anticipated album, City Cinderella. The album started trending all over social media, with people praising her for finally stepping into her solo career and releasing her own projects. However, another reason why the album was trending was because of all the shade she threw at Cardi and Young Miami. JT actually had two songs on the album where she dedicated verses to dissing Cardi B.

The first diss track was “Pepper,” where she called Cardi a flop and claimed that Cardi’s influence had significantly waned. She rapped:

“These Rick Owens boots, these ain’t prison pants
If the bag big enough, he’ll get a second chance
Smoking on some [expletive], it smells like a bee flopping now
Used to be the [expletive], look at that bee flopping now.”

She continued to go after Cardi in her song “Serving,” calling her a has-been and criticizing her pronunciation. She also stated that Cardi should stop claiming to be the fashion icon among female rappers because she holds that title. She rapped:

“I got on [expletive] you can’t pronounce
Wait, let me spell it out: L-O-E-W-E
And I don’t care about the amount
These bees in the fashion mad ’cause I’m in the fashion mad
I got that [expletive] on and they was in the past tense
Talking about you had that [expletive] on in 2017
It’s 2024 and you ain’t got that [expletive] on no more
Yeah, I’m that bee, I’m that bee, and you can’t stand it.”

For those who don’t know the backstory, the fashion feud between JT and Cardi B started when they were both spotted wearing the same outfit. Earlier this year, Cardi shared a snippet of her song “Like What,” where she was seen wearing a pink Rick Owens outfit. Just 15 minutes later, JT posted photos of herself wearing the same outfit at Milan Fashion Week, captioned “Missing Milan.” Although JT attended the event on February 24th, she made the post in March on the same day Cardi shared hers, causing speculation that she was trying to stir up drama. To add to the tension, Young Miami liked Cardi’s video while JT was being criticized for her post, but quickly unliked it after the backlash.
JT is prolonging the feud and seemingly stirring up drama with Cardi, but it was actually Cardi who started the conflict. Here’s how it all began. In 2022, when Cardi and Glorilla’s song “Tomorrow 2” hit the top 10, marking Glorilla’s first top 10 hit, JT congratulated Glorilla on Twitter. However, Cardi’s fans criticized JT for not mentioning Cardi in her message, even though Cardi was featured on the song. They also noted that JT chose to collaborate with Nicki Minaj on “Super Freaky Girl,” which didn’t even chart.

JT took to Twitter to explain her intentions, saying:

“I’ve always done remixes without receiving chart credit, but they get sung word for word and help push the original songs as intended. Unlike y’all – well, I can’t even say y’all ’cause you don’t rap, you tweet. Congratulations, Glow! Stream ‘FNF’ remix and ‘Queen Mix.’”

Cardi responded by calling JT Nicki’s lap dog:

“Lap dog, go fetch.”

JT fired back, questioning Cardi’s talent:

“Cardi, can you go fetch some real talent? We’re DMing while you’re here putting on a show for these kids. Today was supposed to be about Glorilla. Instead, you called me a lap dog, but girl, I’m a big dog.”

Cardi then bragged about her collaboration with the City Girls on “Twerk,” pointing out it’s their most-viewed video on YouTube and accusing JT of being a flop. The argument continued until they eventually blocked each other on social media.

As you can see, JT was just trying to celebrate Glow, but Cardi turned it into a personal attack. Now, with JT dissing Cardi on her album, people didn’t hold back their criticism, like this person who commented:

“JT, out of all girls, calling Cardi a flop is a nasty self-drag. She can’t even compete with Latto or Glorilla.”
“JT calling Cardi a flop is funny, considering nothing she’s done solo or with the City Girls is bigger than Cardi. Even the highest-charting City Girls song is a Cardi B feature. The jokes write themselves.”

But before JT could even catch a break from these comments, things took a turn for the worse. A Nicki Minaj fan came forward, claiming JT paid his rent and added him to a secret group chat where she talked badly about Cardi, Young Miami, and Ice Spice. He said JT recruited several other barbs into this chat and would often call him to say nasty things about Young Miami. He’s now spilling all this tea because they had a fight, and she’s allegedly been threatening him. He says he has all the text messages ready and that if JT keeps threatening or denying his claims, he’ll post everything.
“For six months straight, I’ve been trying to post about hip hop, but it feels like everyone just wants to see me upset. Well, here it is, the first time in six months since I started this page that you’re genuinely seeing me upset. It’s not about Tavia being shady or the barbs talking about me—I’ve always told you to ignore it. It’s not even about her paying my rent. Yes, I said she helped me with my rent, but then you throw shade instead of addressing me directly, even though you talked about Ice Spice and Keisha among others.

If you’re going to address me now, knowing all the things that were said, then post it, Shay. Post the text messages, and I’ll post them too. You think you’re doing something big, but trust me, you’re not. The upper hand is never on your side.

I didn’t disrespect Tavia because I appreciated her help with the rent. But girl, don’t act like I did anything wrong to you. I just told people what you said. I know you’re going to use this for your little press run tomorrow, and that’s why you want to post the text messages. I’ll stay here all night if you want drama. Post the text messages and the phone call, JT, because you talked about Ice Spice on the phone too. Don’t threaten me with ‘I’m gonna post these text messages.’ Go ahead, post them.

The only reason I’m addressing this now is because I’m trying to let her fade out since her goal was to get the barbs talking about her. Thinking that because you paid part of my rent, you did something grand? And Shay, she didn’t send my whole rent payment, just part of it. I had already paid half. People think they know everything but they don’t.

I asked JT to help with my rent because I was late, not getting evicted. I asked her because we talk every day and I’ve helped her before, like getting her on stage in Boston. So why not help me out?”

It’s a mess, y’all. I never thought we’d see the day JT would get exposed for something like this, but here we are. What’s even messier is that she and Young Miami had a fallout not too long ago. If you remember, JT made it seem like Young Miami was the problem, but it turns out it was her. Even after she went solo, JT still had Young Miami’s name in her mouth.

People have a lot to say about this. For example, one person said:

“I don’t like JT. Miami held you down, and JT gives me vibes of one of those friends who can’t wait to bash her old friend.”

Another person commented:

“Cardi’s been waiting to call JT a lap dog, and for Karisha to say nothing in her friend’s defense was just wow.”

But now, I want to know your thoughts. What do you think about JT trash-talking Cardi and Young Miami? Do you think JT is just trying to stir up drama to boost her career? Share your thoughts in the comments below
