Hold up. It’s not like Tommy Lee and JR are teaming up against Tamar Braxton. It’s just some petty drama, and it looks like the old Tamar is back because she’s not putting up with it. She’s out here warning JR and Tommy not to mess with her. I bet Tommy’s sitting somewhere wondering why she even got involved in all this mess.
Anyway, if you’re curious, this all started when Tommy threw some serious shade at Tamar during her back-and-forth with Croan. Tommy accused Tamar of setting Croan up just to get attention for her tour, saying no one was talking about it. Of course, Tamar wasn’t having any of that and fired back, calling Tommy a crackhead and an unemployed reality TV star.
You know how Croan supposedly crashed Tamar’s show after getting invited? Well, Croan says she was supposed to perform with Tamar, but Tamar’s team claims Croan was never scheduled to perform and was just invited as a guest.
Tamar’s friend LaTroy was the first to speak out about the issue and has not been involved with Croan. He went on a very explosive rant on Instagram, calling Croan a “disgusting ghetto girl” and saying she had no business being on stage in the first place. He claimed Croan showed up to the show heavily drunk, high on sugar, and smelling like weed.
“That woman is a disgusting pig, and I’m going to make sure she goes to jail,” LaTroy said. “You do not come to my show and attack people. I’m going to do everything in my power to make sure she pays for injuring James. She’s going to prison. I am so disgusted, man. I don’t even care at this point. Whoever wants to get mad at me can get mad at me. Y’all gotta stop. Let me tell you about this ghetto, disgusting, gutter trash. I don’t even want to call her a girl. She’s trash and should have never been at my show.
“So she comes to Tamar’s concert, which I planned, drunk with a thousand people, smelling like weed, looking dumb. And apparently, she makes music. I didn’t know that. Apparently, she wanted to perform and was mad she didn’t get to. Even if I had known she was a performer, she wasn’t getting on the stage that everyone worked so hard to create.”
First of all, you guys saw the video. She was up there, drunk out of her mind. Now she’s upset because she didn’t get to perform. You all saw her act like a fool during ‘Ling War’—she messed up the song, ruined the concert, and spoiled the moment. So she goes backstage, furious, because she didn’t get to perform her ringtone. She storms into Tamar’s dressing room with a crowd of people, and everyone’s confused. No one knew she was supposed to perform. We didn’t even know she made music; we thought she was just on Zeus. Everyone tries to calm her down, but she’s acting wild. James tries to explain, ‘It wasn’t intentional. We didn’t know you were supposed to sing.’ She calls him a liar and then punches him in the face. James’s tooth is broken, his face is bloody, and he’s at the hospital because his nose won’t stop bleeding.
Croan called out Tamar and her team for using her to gain clout and promote their show.
“I don’t know why this is happening as if I’m not just a woman. The clout chasing is getting out of hand. There was nothing between me and Tamar; it had nothing to do with that. But I don’t know who’s behind this. Wicked things started happening, and I just moved on. I went to a party, then went back home to my kids. I had fun. What I don’t understand is why everyone is making up stories. You have all the videos of us cheering, praying, and posting. You were posting that. Post the other stuff you’re talking about, because everything is recorded now.”
This really angered James, so he went live to call her out for trying to manipulate everyone. He shared that the injuries Croan caused were so severe that he had to get a whole new set of teeth because both his face and teeth were badly damaged.
“I was attacked for no reason, and people keep telling me not to go live. But no, with all these assumptions and what people think they know, I have to speak up. I’m at the dentist right now because I need to get my teeth fixed. My teeth are damaged, and that’s what’s happening right now. So don’t go live saying it didn’t happen. It did happen. And no, I’m not showing my face. My face is messed up. If you saw it, you’d be angry too. It’s torn up. Right now, I have to get my teeth fixed because someone damaged them.”
Tamar also decided to speak up and address the situation. She denied the claims that she was using Croan for publicity and explained that she invited Croan on stage because they were both from Baltimore, and she saw Croan as a younger sister.
“Especially James. He was hurt, and I just feel like I can’t make anyone happy. I really wish she had hit me instead of him, you know? I’m so sorry this happened to you. And I’m sorry, Croan, if you felt that anyone was using you for hype. No, no one was. I’m not even going to address that because it’s ridiculous. I know that when people come into this industry and gain some fame, they feel like, ‘What does this person want from me?’ But there are genuine people out there. I felt a connection with her on many occasions, and I just thought, oh, this is someone I wanted to meet. But this is where things get messy.
Tommy decided to get involved in the drama and throw some shade at Tamar. She called Tamar irrelevant and accused her of lying about not using Croan for attention.
Tommy said, “I just wonder, would this one, not all the rest, but if she wasn’t there, would this one have been this viral? Remember the question when you respond.”
This really set Tamar off, and she went off on Tommy. Tamar called her a jobless reality TV star and even accused her of being a cokehead.
Tamar responded, “And before somebody takes my phone, if you on crack and your name starts with a T and you never even sold out a bag of Blow Pops, stay silent. God bless y’all. Let me and my team heal from this trauma in peace.”
Most people sided with Tamar and criticized Tommy for getting involved in something that wasn’t her business. I can’t even ask a question without someone freaking out. Don’t flatter yourself, Mama. Be thankful I even noticed.”
Whoa, Tommy clearly wanted all the smoke, and Tamar was ready to give it to her. Tamar fired back, “So now I’m supposed to respond to out-of-work reality stars? Not me, and my Muppet is employed. I’ll keep you in mind if I need a fighter for $2,500 an episode for one of my shows. We’re not the same. Go hustle for your next fix. I’ll come with my next hit.”
Tamar was going in on Tommy, and Tommy didn’t have a comeback. That’s how you know her feelings were hurt.
We thought it was over until Tommy showed she wasn’t done being petty. She posted a video sitting front row at a game with Tamar’s ex-fiancé JR, being all touchy-feely. She captioned it “Courtside #Muppets,” echoing her earlier insult.
Ooh, Tamar must have been shocked when she saw this. Tommy knew she couldn’t win a verbal fight, so she decided to hurt Tamar with her actions. This hit hard, especially since Tamar and JR broke up just a month ago.
It’s unclear why JR went along with this, but rumors say he and Tommy have been seeing each other for a while, which might explain why this blew up so fast. Someone commented, “She must have been talking to her ex already. That’s why she jumped into the comments like that.”
