It looks like Kendrick might have opened a Pandora’s box by exposing Drake. The latest buzz is that Drake’s been outed not only for alleged inappropriate behavior but also for being on the down-low. People are saying he’s been dating multiple women to cover up his true preferences. One of the women he’s supposedly had an arrangement with is Sexy Red, which might explain why he showers her with expensive gifts and even tried to convince everyone he was the father of her baby. Apparently, Drake has been paying several women to be in fake relationships with him to keep up appearances.
If you’re not familiar with what a “beard relationship” is, it’s when someone dates or marries another person to hide their true sexual orientation. This was a common practice in the 20th century for gay and lesbian individuals who wanted to appear straight while having same-sex relationships on the side. The word on the street is that some down-low rappers are still doing this, and Drake is allegedly one of them.
About a week ago, Drake faced major backlash after Kendrick called him out for allegedly getting involved with underage girls and hanging around people who do the same. Kendrick’s song “Not Like Us” openly addressed these allegations, severely damaging Drake’s reputation. The song’s cover art showed a photo of Drake’s house with multiple sex offender alerts on it. In the lyrics, Kendrick rapped, “Say Drake, I hear you like ’em young. Hide your little sister from him. And Baka got a weird case, why is he around? Certified lover boys, certified pedophiles. Why you trolling like a bee? Ain’t you tired? You trying to strike a chord, and it’s probably a minor.”
People got really curious about the names Kendrick mentioned and started digging. They found out that Baka is actually a convicted child trafficker. Despite this, Drake chose to befriend him and sign him to OVO. Baka was arrested in 2014 and charged with six offenses related to human trafficking. These are the kinds of people Drake has been intentionally associating with and signing to his label.
Drake initially wanted to stay calm and let the rumors blow over. However, after his song became a hit, more people started accusing him of being a pedophile. Feeling the pressure, Drake addressed the rumors in his song “The Heart Part Six.” In it, he rapped, “I’ve never been with anyone underage, but now I understand why this is the angle you really mess with. Just for clarity, I feel disgusted. I’m too respected. If I was effing young girls, I promise I’d been arrested. I’m way too famous for the issue just suggested, but that’s not the lesson.”
Before things could calm down, new allegations popped up, suggesting he might be gay and using Sexy Red to cover it up. If you’ve been on social media lately, you might have seen people speculating about Drake’s sexuality. Some point to his photo poses, making fish lips, wearing hair clips, and rumors of getting a BBL for fake abs as hints that he might be queer. He’s also dropped some hints in his lyrics.
Back in 2021, people started questioning Drake’s sexuality when he dropped his album “Certified Lover Boy.” There’s a track on there featuring Lil Baby called “Girls Want Girls,” where he tells his love interest, who’s a lesbian, that he can relate to being attracted to the same gender. He says, “Yeah, talking all the [expletive] that you’d done been through. Say that you a lesbian, girl, me too.”
But that wasn’t the only song that raised eyebrows. In another track, “Members Only,” he more openly suggests he’s bisexual, rapping, “Going deeper inside my feelings. Can’t subside these walls. They so thin you’re gonna wake up the East Side girl. Feel like I’m bi ’cause you’re one of the guys.”
Things got even more interesting when Drake started hanging out with Sexy Red after she gained popularity. She’s very open about her sexuality, and Drake’s ability to make it seem like they’re an item, even hinting at being her baby daddy, has led many to believe he’s trying to convince people he’s straight.
Drake and Sexy Red first met up in July last year at his concert in New York. During the show, he spotted her in the crowd, walked up to her, gave her a kiss on the cheek, and said, “Look, they got my baby mama here tonight, Baby M here tonight.” They later hung out backstage, where Drake was acting like a super fan. He had her sitting on his lap and kept kissing her all over her face. He posted the moment on his Instagram stories with the caption, “Just met my rightful wife @sexyred.”
In another post, he said, “If my girl sees y’all backstage being thirsty, it’s gonna get smokey.” Drake was really going all out. Sexy Red recounted, “We were backstage in his room, just chilling, and he was really into me. Everyone was coming in, and he was being nice, introducing me like, ‘She’s awesome, she’s great, this is Sexy Red.’ It was fun. Drake is fun, yeah, he’s turned up, he’s lit.” This led several social media outlets to speculate that they were more than just friends, a notion that Sexy Red herself seemed to confirm in an interview before quickly backtracking.
“Right now online, I keep seeing pictures of you and Drake. What’s going on with you two? Do you have a record coming out?”
“We’re just messing around. Just kidding, he’s my friend. We do have a song coming out.”
“Really?”
“Yeah, it’s supposed to be. I did some verses on his song. He sent me a beat, and I rapped on it. He liked it, so we’ll see if he releases it.”
“Is it going to be named after you? Drake often names songs after women.”

Sexy Red posted a photo with Drake, along with another picture of him sticking out his tongue and drooling over her, captioned, “I’m your favorite rapper’s favorite rapper.” Later, she posted another photo with Drake, captioned, “I’m with my man, but it’s free my other man.” Drake also bought her a diamond-encrusted Cartier watch worth over $30k. Sexy Red shared a video of the watch on Instagram, along with a lot of cash Drake gave her, captioning it, “Thank you, Drake. Ice me the F out then, big boss. I appreciate that, big dog.”
Drake hinted at being her baby daddy when he featured her and SZA on the song “Rich Baby Daddy” and seemed to reference the diamond watch he bought her. He rapped, “I knew it was love when it started as a friendship. Asking about a baby, we should probably get a Frenchie. We was night after night. I’ll change your life. You ain’t even know how to bleep it right. I taught you right. You ain’t even know how cold you was till I bought you ice. You can’t even look at him the same. We a different type.”
But word on the street is that all the gifts and cash Drake’s been giving to Sexy Red are just part of a deal where she pretends to have something going on with him. Most people didn’t catch on until Kendrick called it out in his song “Euphoria,” where he claims Drake uses Sexy Red as a cover to hide his homosexual urges and that Drake doesn’t really love women. Kendrick rapped, “When I see you standing next to Sexy Red, I believe you see two bad [expletive]. I believe you don’t like women. That’s real competition. You might pop behind with them, baby.”
Kendrick has decided to spill all of Drake’s secrets and truly expose him. On the other hand, Sexy is reportedly very upset about this situation. Now, not only does everyone know she was involved in all this drama for the money, but those payments are likely going to stop.
