In the industry, they’re always teaming up, thinking they can take me down. They try to hit you, but I make sure to strike back first. They can’t touch me. I send my guys to deal with them. Don’t say anything; just talk to Drake. He didn’t feel me. He told me he liked what I was doing but couldn’t be involved. So, when our paths cross, forget what you say. You’re the enemy now.

In case you didn’t know, Chicago rapper Lil Durk has been feuding with YoungBoy for a long time. It all started when YoungBoy had beef with one of Durk’s OTF artists, the late King Von. Von called YoungBoy out, saying he was all talk, and YoungBoy couldn’t let that slide. He fired back with diss tracks aimed at Von and his O-Block crew. Naturally, Durk jumped in to defend Von, throwing shade at YoungBoy in his own tracks.

Just days after YoungBoy dropped “The Industry Part 2,” where he blasted Drake for betraying him and siding with Lil Durk, Drake’s protector, J. Prince, stepped in. J. Prince warned YoungBoy to back off, calling Drake his son. He even posted a photo of his meeting with YoungBoy and Birdman, making it clear where he stands.

“As you all can see, I had a great time hanging out with my friends in Utah. On behalf of my buddy YB, my brother Birdman and I had a real face-to-face conversation. We talked about the past, the present, and the future. Most importantly, we left with mutual respect moving forward.

Now, I need to address the song where my name and Drake’s name were mentioned. To the little homie, as I told you privately and now publicly: Drake is my guy. He’s with me, so I think it’s best to take him off your enemy list. The truth is, we have nothing but love for Dirk and your achievements. When I put Drake on that FaceTime call with you, my intention was for you both to move forward, not backward. Every day, we get a chance and a choice, and the choices we make determine our destination.

But the drama didn’t end there. A few months later, Drake released ‘8 A.M. in Charlotte’ and seemingly took shots at YoungBoy with the lines:

‘You young boys take some of that money and set it aside. That’s half enough to pay your taxes; it’s a federal crime.’

Just hours after Drake dropped the song, YoungBoy couldn’t stay silent. He jumped on Instagram and unleashed a rant aimed directly at Drake, saying:

‘Try again, ninja, and stop sucking that boy’s dick. You know I’m going to cut the fuck out. Record my dick, ninja. You will now.’

Drake didn’t respond directly, but his mentor, J. Prince, stepped in once again. Rumors started that he tried to extort YoungBoy. YoungBoy also seemed to address this during an Instagram Live, calling out J. Prince for playing games at his age.”

“Don’t make any new connections with me. Hey, I don’t respect any of that stuff. If you need something from me, there are plenty of people around me you can contact. There are many ways to reach me, so don’t go online making things public. Avoid seeking any publicity. And I’m fine with Keys Ganger when you buy things with cash. Two keys come with the car anyway. Just mind your own business.”

This all stems from an incident in Houston where J. Prince allegedly sent some guys to YoungBoy’s Airbnb. They stole YoungBoy’s chains and the keys to his $350,000 Bentley. This happened in July 2020, when burglars posted a video online showing them breaking into YoungBoy’s home in Houston. They used the keys to access his luxury cars, including a white Bentley, a white Rolls-Royce, and a white 2020 McLaren GT. These guys later demanded a ransom of $30,000 for the stolen items, and many speculated that J. Prince was behind it.

J. Prince then went online to tell YoungBoy that he had retrieved his chains and keys and told him to come get them. He shared a video on Instagram, saying he got a call from the people who broke into YoungBoy’s home and showed some of the stolen items. He said:

“So while we were away, I got a call about YoungBoy’s place being broken into. People disrespected his property, and I got a call about it. The guys who went into his place want to make things right because they know YoungBoy’s family is cool with me. Long story short, I have your keys to your Rolls-Royce, your keys to your McLaren, and everything they took. And the homie Shakur, what do you have? You got your Rolls umbrellas, your keys, and a bunch of other stuff. So get in touch, come get your things, it’s all here waiting for you.”

Many people think this was an obvious ploy. If YoungBoy had gone to meet J. Prince, they probably would have asked for even more money to get his things back. J. Prince acted like he had no idea about the robbery and pretended to be a mentor to YoungBoy. But YoungBoy saw through this, believing that J. Prince allegedly does this to all rappers who come to Houston: he takes money from them and makes them check in with him. This led YoungBoy to post a video blasting J. Prince, calling him out for going online instead of reaching out directly.

Cameron and Mase recently spoke out against J. Prince over this incident. Cameron said he lost all respect for Prince after he tried to set up NBA YoungBoy and let Drake get humiliated by Kendrick Lamar. Mase added:

“60, what are you talking about? Who are you, bro? I lost a lot of respect for you because I used to admire you when you had Shakur with you. Why lie? YoungBoy, NBA… Why do you have Shakur with you, and this is why he’s acting like that. Talking about, ‘CH got YoungBoy, NBA umbrellas and his keys, this car.’ YoungBoy, NBA told me this. This is what YoungBoy, NBA said. Wack 100 was the most disrespectful. I won’t even repeat what he said. Total disrespect.”

Drake is currently beefing with Kendrick Lamar. I hadn’t heard about this before. The first time Drake got into something, I heard you mention Kendrick L. Why do you think you can tell us what we can and cannot say? No one is going to tell us to stay silent after being disrespected.

Cameron and Mase’s anger towards J. Prince started when Prince tried to get them to back down from their criticism of New York-Jersey boxer Shakur Stevenson, who is managed by Prince. They called Stevenson’s recent world title defense against Artam boring. J. Prince responded by warning Cam and Mase, saying he would support Stevenson and take all bets. He wrote on Instagram:
“Numbers don’t lie, haters do. Let the haters say he’s boring and that nobody wants to watch him. But the truth is, it’s just a few of you haters. Look at the facts: he has the top ratings for any fight on ESPN this year and holds the top three spots since 2022. For those haters wanting to take it outside the ring, I’m Shakur’s manager and I handle all his business. So, Cam and Mase, I’ll take on any challenge and all bets.

But Cam and Mase weren’t bothered by J. Prince’s threats. They fired back, saying he was embarrassing himself and called him out for staying quiet when Drake got humiliated by Kendrick. Here’s another thing: older folks are often the last to realize that things have changed. We’re not your subordinates. The way you’re talking, I don’t get it. We’re not your little guys. That ‘big homie’ stuff is for younger guys. Younger guys have big homies. We’re not young, so we don’t even respect big homies. Killer doesn’t, and I never respected that in the streets. That’s why I’ve had the problems I’ve had. Chill? Chill for what? Who is this guy? That’s how I feel listening to this man. I want to respect you, but I can’t, and here’s why. The guys who raised me, if I was out of line, they’d tell me. They wouldn’t let me send them on a risky mission. They’d say, ‘Yo, Mase, around here, we handle our own problems. You have to do your own work.’ That’s what you should have told them. You can’t talk big and then send me on a mission. No, this is where the game got messed up when young guys started sending older guys out. Just because this young guy has some money, he makes all you supposed-to-be-real people run after his mission. This is a problem, J, and I’m telling you, if you’re 60 years old and still trying to be a street guy, you’ve failed. You’ve failed. You’ve failed. You’ve failed. I stand by this message. My name is Mase. I stand by this message.”
Mase and Cam got a ton of support from fans after they called out J. Prince, saying out loud what everyone else has been thinking. One fan said, “Cam and Mase are totally right. They’re not kids in their teens or twenties; they’re grown men. That boogeyman act only works on some people. Like they said, you had nothing to say to the West Coast guys. Respect goes both ways.” Another fan added, “I’m so glad that someone besides YB and Offset finally called out J. Prince.”

When it comes to YoungBoy’s thoughts on the Kendrick versus Drake beef, it’s pretty clear that YB is 100% team Kendrick. He said, “Kendrick Lamar, he’s going to tell you the story the right way and in the most creative way.”

As for YB’s fans, they’re now saying he saw through Drake years ago. Someone said, “I love how NBA has been calling Drake a square since day one. He saw right through him.” Another person added, “NBA YB and Kendrick versus BBL Drizzy? That would be so dope.”

So, what do you think about YB’s situation with Drake and J. Prince checking YB for dissing Drake but staying completely silent on Kendrick? Drop your comments below
