Candice Owens has a theory about why Diddy seems to be getting away with things. She thinks it might have to do with Kanye West’s claims that Diddy is working with the feds. Kanye has suggested before that Diddy might have made a deal with federal authorities, and that could explain why he’s seemingly untouched. Is Kanye in the know about something we aren’t? And has he shared this with Candace? The whole informant angle has been buzzing ever since the hotel footage of Diddy and Cassie leaked.

It’s no shock that the footage is still making waves. What really stands out is Cassie’s lawsuit, where she says she took a cab home after the incident but went back to the hotel, worried that Diddy’s anger would only get worse if she stayed away. When she got back, hotel security suggested she leave again after seeing the footage of Diddy throwing glass at her. Cassie also claims Diddy paid $50,000 for the footage, though it seems someone kept a copy.

The LA County District Attorney’s office has weighed in, saying they can’t charge Diddy. They said: “We are aware of the video that’s been circulating and find it extremely disturbing. However, if this incident happened in 2016, it’s beyond the statute of limitations for prosecuting such cases. Currently, law enforcement hasn’t brought any charges against Mr. Combs related to this video.
Candace Owens believes Diddy’s freedom isn’t just a matter of timing but is actually tied to his alleged connections with federal authorities. She’s had strong opinions about him ever since the first lawsuit hit. For example, she tweeted after the raids, saying, “The feds are raiding Diddy’s house not to find evidence but to cover it up. They already know what he’s involved in, and he’s being set up as the fall guy to protect the real big players.”

When hotel surveillance footage was leaked, Candace shared it on her ex-feed and tweeted, “He’s not in jail because he’s a Fed’s asset. Kanye tried to warn us all.” This refers to Kanye West’s previous claims that Diddy was working with the feds. Kanye had shared a screenshot of a text exchange where Diddy wanted to discuss Kanye’s controversial “White Lives Matter” shirts and his comments about Black Lives Matter. Kanye told Diddy, “Never call me with BS like that again unless you’re ready to greenlight me.” Diddy then asked for Kanye’s address to talk face-to-face, and Kanye called him a Fed.

In 2022, Kanye brought up the accusation again during a Drink Champs podcast appearance. He said Diddy was working for the feds and explained that he doesn’t have celebrity friends because none helped him when he claimed his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, kidnapped their daughter. Kanye suggested that Diddy’s ties to the feds were why he was targeting Kanye. Kanye also made it clear he wanted nothing to do with Diddy. When Diddy tried to meet him backstage at Rolling Loud in Los Angeles, Kanye reportedly showed no interest in meeting or being seen with him, even though Diddy had shown support by bringing his kids to the event.

Let’s dive back into the speculation about Diddy potentially working with the feds. Since the lawsuits hit, there have been some curious developments. For instance, during the federal raids on Diddy’s homes in LA and Miami, his sons King and Justin were detained. Videos and photos from the scene show them in handcuffs talking to the authorities. Misa Hilton even shared footage of the feds entering Diddy’s West LA property, where they were seen searching the house. In one clip, Justin is approaching officers with his hands up, while King is handcuffed with his chest against a wall. Two of Diddy’s assistants were also detained and questioned.

Things took a twist when former Syracuse basketball player Brendan Paul was arrested at a Miami airport on felony charges. He was allegedly involved in smuggling for Diddy and was caught before he could board Diddy’s private jet. Paul was charged with cocaine and controlled substances, and after posting $2,500 bail, he was released.

Paul’s arrest wasn’t entirely unexpected since he was mentioned several times in a February lawsuit by music producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, accusing him of being Diddy’s mule. Yet, despite the raids and detentions, Diddy himself wasn’t taken into custody. He was spotted at Miami’s Opa-Locka Executive Airport, but not detained.

This has led to speculation that Diddy might be an informant. While Kanye West and Candace Owens have suggested this, others have jumped on the bandwagon too. Suge Knight hinted at a bigger cover-up, suggesting that the raids were about protecting powerful figures like Clive Davis and Jeffrey Epstein. Gene Deal, who’s known for his insider knowledge about Diddy, has also hinted that Diddy could be cooperating with the feds. Deal mentioned that informants are sometimes allowed to commit crimes as long as they don’t cross certain lines, in exchange for protection.

Adding to the mix, reports have surfaced claiming that Diddy is under so much financial pressure—nearly $100 million in mortgage debt and mounting legal bills—that he might be forced to snitch on others to save himself.

Given all this, it’s no surprise that many people believe Diddy could be working with the feds. There’s even a sentiment on social media that celebrities often serve as government assets, used to sway public opinion. It’s a wild thought, but it makes you wonder about the real motives behind such high-profile cases.

What do you think about the idea of Diddy being an informant? Do you agree with Kanye and Candace, or do you have another take? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
