I’m genuinely worried about Kanye West right now. He’s been caught up in some concerning behavior involving nitrous oxide and a fallout with his former Chief of Staff. For those who aren’t familiar, nitrous oxide—often called Whippits—is a gas people use to get a quick high. It’s something we’ve seen with various celebrities, like Drake Bell. But it looks like Kanye might be taking it to the next level with a stronger or larger dose.

Now, there’s a character involved here, Dr. Thomas, who’s been working on Kanye’s teeth. He’s quite a personality—intense and clearly proud of his work. At first glance, Kanye’s new dental look is a bit futuristic and might even seem intriguing. But honestly, I’m not a fan. Reports say Kanye’s teeth are infected, smell bad, and are hard to eat with. Just thinking about it makes me cringe.

Milo, who’s been following this closely, posted some screenshots on Twitter that we need to unpack. It looks like Dr. Thomas is actually pushing to make nitrous oxide legal for recreational use. Milo’s concerned about the risks of long-term nitrous use, which is a valid point. Kanye even asked Dr. Thomas if he could get some nitrous delivered to him at the Chateau Marmont, and Dr. Thomas agreed. It’s troubling to see how much money he’s making off Kanye—$850,000 for the titanium teeth and another $50,000 a month for supplying nitrous.

This situation feels eerily similar to what happened with Matthew Perry, who tragically died from excessive ketamine use. It’s a harsh reminder of how dangerous it can be when someone is enabled to misuse substances, and it seems like Kanye might be on a similar path.
Milo tweeted about a troubling situation involving Kanye West. Apparently, someone is illegally providing him and others with large amounts of nitrous gas. They’re reportedly bringing multiple surgical-sized canisters to Kanye’s home and continuing to supply him even after he’s shown concerning symptoms. This kind of abuse can cause serious health issues—like turning lips purple, organ failure, and even brain damage. It seems like everyone around Kanye might be enabling his behavior instead of helping him.

Then there’s Bianca, who seems more focused on competing with Kim Kardashian than addressing these issues. Kim is reportedly trying to arrange a meeting with Kanye and Bianca to discuss the drug allegations and Bianca’s public wardrobe choices. Kim is worried about the impact of their actions on their children. Even though Kim communicates with Kanye through nannies, Kris, or lawyers, she’s alarmed by the negative stories surrounding Kanye and Bianca. She wants to sit down with them to discuss co-parenting and set some new boundaries. I have to agree with Kim here—seeing Bianca’s public outfits, I’d be concerned too.

There’s also talk that Bianca might be stuck in a toxic marriage with Kanye, who’s been caught up in numerous scandals. I can understand why Bianca might be feeling worn out and embarrassed. Hopefully, Kim can set some rules to create a healthier environment for the kids. But I’m worried that Kanye might be getting taken advantage of and drained financially.

In another strange twist, JK Rowling and Elon Musk are named in a cyberbullying lawsuit from an Algerian boxer. The Paris prosecutors are investigating the complaint, which revolves around the boxer’s gender and how powerful people like Elon Musk are involved. International law might not fully cover this issue, especially given the complexities of online behavior. The controversy seems to be about the boxer’s gender identity, with figures like Logan Paul making provocative statements. Despite confirmation of the boxer’s gender, misinformation is still spreading. Even Jake Paul had to delete his post after realizing he might have spread false information.

So, JK Rowling is catching some flak for a comment she made back in October 2020. She said she’d be willing to go to jail rather than use the wrong pronouns, which sparked a lot of discussion online. One person even joked, “I’d rather be locked up than show respect.” I’m not sure if you can actually go to jail for that sort of thing, especially with freedom of speech being a big deal in the U.S. But things might be different in countries like France. Any legal experts out there, feel free to chime in!

Switching gears, Nick Cannon is in the spotlight again, and it’s pretty entertaining. He joked about staying out of a conversation about a new $6,000 credit for newborns announced by KLA Harris. Given that Cannon has 12 kids with six different women, fans are having a blast with the idea that he’d benefit from the $66,000 tax credit for parents with newborns. Cannon responded with, “Leave me out of this,” but the jokes keep rolling in, with comments like, “It’s too funny” and “You’re about to collect that check, Nick.” Honestly, keeping track of 12 kids and their moms must be a major feat, and I bet he has to juggle a lot to make it all work.

And then there’s Jake Paul, who’s been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. He’s been calling out New York with some pretty loud and brash comments, and people are comparing him to Mike Tyson from years ago. One tweet said, “He definitely knows how to play the villain role,” while Jake Paul just keeps laughing all the way to the bank. As a fan of New York myself, I’m actually hoping to catch New York Fashion Week soon—fingers crossed!

Let me know what you think in the comments below. Now, let’s move on to something a little different in our next segment. Stay tuned!

I’m on a mission to make a piña colada as amazing as the ones I had in Maui. I thought, why not ask AI for some help? After all, AI is supposed to know everything, and I keep hearing about this Tana Mojo character who hangs out in Hawaii a lot. So, I figured I’d see if she could help me out.

“Hey Tana, what’s the secret to making the best piña colada?”

“I’d go with white rum, heavy cream, coconut water, coconut milk, and fresh pineapple juice.”

“Sounds good! And how do I make it frozen? Just throw in some ice?”

“Yep, blending it with ice will make it nice and frosty.”

“Cool! Should I top it off with a dark rum float?”

“Definitely, dark rum adds a rich flavor and a touch of sophistication.”

“Thanks, Tana! Let’s get this piña colada party started!”

I noticed they have several types of rum. It’s still surprising that you can buy liquor in grocery stores here; it was such a shock when I moved to Florida. I’m going for the real deal, so I’m picking out some white rum. No cutting corners on this! And we definitely need ice—I’m bound to forget it otherwise. Also, I’m hunting for a can of coconut cream. Where would that be?

I’m a bit nervous because I’ve never used this Ninja blender before. I feel like I’m channeling Selena Gomez or Hailey Bieber with their cooking shows right now. Anyway, I’ve got everything to make the perfect piña colada. I’m thinking of starting with six shots of rum—maybe three of each type or just four and a half. I’ll adjust as I go. I’ll also add some condensed coconut milk, even though it looks a bit weird. Let’s use the whole can. I’ve got dark rum for that extra touch, and Costa Rican pineapples because they taste so much better. I’m also adding some Cocoa Whip. And these small bags of ice are so handy compared to the big ones I’m used to. I guess we’ll need a lot of ice since nothing is frozen yet.

Hey, I’m about to give a friend a call. So, I’ve got all my ingredients ready—what’s the next step? I tried mixing everything before, but it ended up way too watery. If that happens, you might need to tweak the ratios. Try adding more heavy cream and coconut milk to thicken it up and make it richer and creamier. I don’t have heavy cream right now, though. You can also play around with the amounts to get the texture just right for your taste. Enjoy your Piña Colada!

Oh, and I might have gone a bit overboard with the rum—it’s pretty strong. I’m thinking of starting with about six shots of alcohol. It looks decent, but it kind of resembles a stomach ache, doesn’t it? This whole thing has been a bit of a chaotic mess. I hope you had fun watching! I wouldn’t recommend trying this unless you’re an expert. I’m also thinking vanilla ice cream might be a good addition. I may have added too many shots, but hopefully, you enjoyed the craziness.

Welcome back to Ask Sloan! I’m taking these questions from bed today because I’m a little tired. Last night was amazing—I got to meet Gigi Gorgeous, someone I’ve admired since I was younger and who inspired me to start my YouTube channel. I’ll try to share a picture of that incredible moment. Now, let’s get into some of your questions. Here’s one from Ali:

“Hi Sloan, I absolutely adore your channel and look forward to your videos every day. Thank you so much! I’m starting my own podcast called ‘The Top Comment,’ which I think is a great title, and I’m planning to record it at the beginning of October. I’m really excited! I’m curious, what got you started on YouTube? What inspired you to become a YouTuber?”
So, I’m heading out to dinner tonight with a couple of friends who are also creators. You know, when it comes to YouTube, it really boils down to a love for making content. You need to genuinely enjoy creating videos and editing them. Even though I have an amazing editing team now, I still find joy in the editing process. It’s important to really understand the technology and software you’re using and to actually like it. Editing can be pretty tedious and time-consuming. It took me years to get to the point where I can edit a video in under an hour. At first, it used to take me four hours, but that’s all part of the learning curve.

Did I ever think I’d be this popular when I started? Not at all. I just made videos for fun. I’ve been making videos since I was in 7th grade and have had various channels with different content. Even if I hadn’t found success on YouTube, I’d still be making videos because I just love doing it. Best of luck to you!

You mentioned that one of the biggest challenges is the logistics side, especially in my niche. Dealing with people trying to come after you or even suing you can be tough. Thanks for your question, Ally.

Okay, here’s a question from Kayla on Instagram:

“Hi Sloan, I’m a big fan of your channel. Have you ever thought about narrating? Your voice has such a soft, airy quality. I’d love to hear you narrate a biography or something.”

Right now, I’m working on writing something. So, when I eventually come out with a book, I’ll definitely be doing the audiobook myself. I’m all about that audio experience. And thanks for the compliment, Kayla!

I miss the memories of home—the good food, the dogs, and having friends around. I was never alone growing up, and being away from family can be tough. I do miss them sometimes. It’s really important to stay connected with your loved ones.

I hope you enjoyed this episode of the Sloan Show. I know the drink situation was a bit of a disaster—who knows how much of that will make it into the final cut! Until next time, I’ll see you in the next edition of the Sloan Show. Bye, guys!
