Hey everyone, it looks like the friendship between JT and Nicki Minaj has completely fallen apart. They’re airing their grievances on social media and really going at each other. Remember when Nicki used to be JT’s biggest supporter and took her under her wing? Well, it seems like that’s all in the past now.
JT has been very vocal about feeling used by Nicki, accusing her of leveraging their friendship for clout and then just dropping her. She’s even extended these accusations to Ice Spice and other female rappers, claiming Nicki’s been using them too. JT’s not holding back at all.
Fans have been buzzing about the tension between Nicki and JT for a while, and now the Ice Spice situation adds another layer to the drama. Despite Nicki being a huge boost for Ice Spice’s career with hits like “Princess Diana” and “Barbie World,” it seems there’s some bad blood. Everyone thought Ice Spice and Nicki were tight, especially since Ice Spice was even defending Nicki and starting feuds on her behalf, like with Lotto. But now, it looks like things are far from friendly.
A few months ago, things took a dramatic turn in the world of hip-hop. Baby Storm, who was Ice Spice’s best friend, spilled some serious tea, accusing Ice Spice of secretly dissing Nicki Minaj. According to Baby Storm, Ice Spice called Nicki delusional and ungrateful. The plot thickened when Baby Storm and Ice Spice had a falling out, leading Baby Storm to drop some shady receipts: text messages showing Ice Spice talking trash about Nicki.
But here’s the twist: Ice Spice claimed she was actually the one who was approached to work on the Barbie album and invited Nicki to join, calling her “the Lulu.” Ice Spice wrote, “We were about to drop another record in June, but Barbie asked me to work on the soundtrack alone. Since it’s her brand, I invited Nicki. She doesn’t see it as me giving her an opportunity. It’s like dealing with my mom—ungrateful and delusional about what I did for her.”
Nicki never directly addressed the situation, but her actions spoke volumes. She started distancing herself from Ice Spice and even took back the money she had given her. It was pretty quiet until recently when Nicki made waves by unfollowing both Ice Spice and JT on Instagram. Fans are buzzing, speculating about some serious drama brewing between these ladies.

Everyone thought Nicki might unfollow Ice Spice, but JT? That caught people off guard. JT had been a loyal supporter of Nicki, even clashing with Cardi B to show her allegiance. So, why the sudden unfollow? Rumor has it that Nicki might have realized JT was using her for clout rather than genuine support. There’s even a history of JT dissing Nicki—she once tweeted, “I just don’t like Nicki because she feels like she runs things. I want Cardi to take over. F that B to the back.” Plus, there’s an old video of JT and Young Miami dissing Nicki on Facebook.
Despite their previous shade, JT and Young Miami later claimed they loved Nicki and wanted to work with her. Fans are still waiting for that collaboration, though. Nicki initially stayed silent about their past shade but eventually made it clear she knew about it and wasn’t about to let it slide.
“There’s a group that keeps bringing up your name because they’re interested in doing a song with you. Would you consider collaborating with the City Girls?” A few years back, I saw a video of them and reached out to someone on their team. I was really excited about the idea of jumping on one of their tracks.
Then social media blew up. When people say things about artists online, whether it’s in tweets or interviews, it’s out there forever. And as a human, not just an artist, that stuff can sting. If I was planning to hang out with someone and then found out they had been saying negative things about me, it would definitely change how I felt. Repeated jabs, especially over time, are hard to just brush off.
But I decided to move on. I had a great chat with JT and Young Miami, and I tweeted, “Just had a great convo with JT and Young Miami. Let’s move on and make new memories.” Young Miami replied with, “Queen te,” and JT said, “Sad sister, thank you for your time and advice. A true Queen. Love you.”
It seemed like things were cool between me and JT, especially since JT had defended me in a spat with Cardi B. We thought everything was settled.
Recently, though, there’s been talk that JT might be signing with Roc Nation, like Megan Thee Stallion did. If that’s true, it would really hurt because I’ve had issues with Roc Nation, Beyoncé, and Jay-Z. I’ve felt like they’ve been trying to sabotage me.
And remember when Megan threw shade at me with her song “Hiss”? I couldn’t let that slide. I clapped back, accusing Roc Nation of trying to make me look bad. I tweeted, “B thinks she’s a bully because of her Roc Nation brunches. She’s mad at Cardi. But you’re taking shots at my family? Go apologize to your mother, you nasty serpent.”
I didn’t hold back. I even accused Roc Nation of secretly funding Megan while she claimed to be independent. I shared a Roc Nation ad featuring Megan and said, “Spending so much money while claiming to be broke and independent? Desiree, let it go. The world knows she can’t rap. Stop trying to make fetch happen. I put out a song with no promo or video, and it’s already number two.”
I even threatened to expose Roc Nation’s CEO, Desiree Perez. I tweeted, “Next song, I’m diving into all the people Desiree allegedly fired and more. So many were blindsided and hurt. She’s willing to go broke trying to replace me. Fix it, Jesus.”

If you’re wondering why I’m so worked up about Roc Nation, it’s because of some old beef. When I was dating Meek Mill, who was managed by Roc Nation, there were plans for me to release a documentary exposing his behavior during our relationship. But Roc Nation stepped in and told me to keep quiet. The project got canceled, and I felt like Roc Nation played a big role in that.
But hold up, there’s more to this story. Nicki Minaj has been accusing Roc Nation of running a smear campaign against her. She claims they’ve been paying people to make negative TikToks and tweets about her to ruin her reputation. Some of these folks apparently got $250 for a tweet bashing Nicki and then moved on the next day. We’re talking about more than just individual rappers—this could involve entire companies.
So, if JT decides to sign with Roc Nation after all the drama Nicki’s had with them, don’t expect any flowers from Nicki. And that’s not all—Nicki recently threw some serious shade on Queen’s Radio at female rappers who turned down her label, Heavy On It, to sign with bigger labels after she helped them out.
“Tell somebody they don’t really want to, you know what I’m saying? Sign with Heavy On It, but then they’ll go and sign with the big names. And guess who those big names are going to call? Always on. Mirage. They always make sure they get the attention of the Barbs. So you would be surprised, and I’m not talking about doing ad-libs on any songs. If their name isn’t on Pink Friday 2, they’re not a Heavy On It artist.”
JT is firing back at Nicki, accusing her of being controlling. She says Nicki tried to offer her a terrible record deal, and when JT refused, Nicki got upset and called her ungrateful.

Now, JT is suggesting that Nicki only used her to compete with Cardi B and never really liked her. Fans are buzzing about Nicki’s actions towards Ice Spice and JT, with some calling her a “mean girl” who doesn’t want anyone else in the spotlight. There’s even talk about Nicki’s personal life adding to the drama.
So, what do you think? Is JT’s beef with Nicki Minaj a big deal, or is Nicki just living up to her “mean girl” reputation?
