Hey everyone, JT and Cardi B are back in the spotlight with their ongoing feud. These two artists have a history of not seeing eye to eye, and things heated up again recently over some old drama.
To recap: Last October, Gorillas and Cardi B’s track “Tomorrow Too” hit number nine on the Billboard Hot 100. When JT took to Twitter to congratulate Gorillas but omitted any mention of Cardi B, it sparked controversy.
Cardi B didn’t hesitate to respond, calling JT a lapdog and implying she’s blindly loyal to Nicki Minaj. JT fired back by calling Cardi B a wiener dog. Cardi B opted to handle the disagreement privately, stating they were already addressing it in DMs and ending her public comments.
But JT couldn’t resist one last dig, briefly returning to Twitter to question who’s chasing after treats. She hinted that Gorillas should focus on its own issues, referring to a photo of Cardi B posing with a dog by the pool for HSH Fancy Pants.
“And then Cardi B responded, saying, ‘Hot debuted higher than any song you’ve ever been on or dropped. Period. Everyone has their highs and lows, but you haven’t seen one since ‘Act Up.”
Now, JT’s gearing up to drop her new album, ‘City Cinderella,’ and she used the opportunity to throw some shade at Cardi B. Here’s what she had to say:
“So basically, she’s calling Cardi B a has-been. Cardi did respond, but she didn’t make a big fuss about it. Instead, she retweeted what her best friend posted: ‘Anyway, have you pre-saved that money?’ She reposted this around the same time news of JT shading her started spreading.
