Stalker Shifts Focus from Emma Roberts to Kim Kardashian: A Growing Concern

Unfortunately for Kim Kardashian, she now shares more than just a show with Emma Roberts—they both have the same stalker. We frequently cover celebrity stalkers on this channel because it’s a crucial topic that deserves attention. Stalking often stems from mental illness, which we don’t talk about enough. It’s clear that the authorities and the state do not always protect people threatened by these disturbed individuals who form unhealthy attachments to celebrities.
Before we go further, I wanted to find out more about this stalker. Who is this guy who feels entitled to harass Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian? The only picture I could find of him is this one: Melvin Jeffrey Conley, a 32-year-old from Georgia. It’s a major red flag that he has no social media history. In today’s world, it’s unusual for someone his age not to have any online presence. Despite my efforts, I couldn’t find much information. He seems to have attempted a career as an influencer or in film, but that’s about it.
Melvin Jeffrey Conley’s behavior is disturbing, and his fixation on such prominent figures only heightens the concern. Emma Roberts and Kim Kardashian, both unique individuals, are now unfortunately linked by this unsettling situation.
Let’s start off by talking about what Melvin did to Emma Roberts because this is horrifying. Even American Horror Story couldn’t make this up. This guy not only broke into her home but also used her phone to call her. Reports say that Emma Roberts is taking legal steps to protect herself from a man who broke into her home and called her cell phone using her home phone. It looks like Emma’s 3-year-old son is also protected under this order after Emma claimed that Melvin mentioned her child by name, which made her even more concerned about his intentions.
It seems that Melvin broke into Emma’s home on either May 7th or May 8th while she was away. The whole situation is really scary—an alleged stalker breaking into Emma Roberts’ home and calling her from inside the house. This is truly terrifying. Leaving your home, your safe space, and having someone violate it like this is a nightmare. Luckily, Emma wasn’t at home at the time, which is a relief because who knows what could have happened if she had been. So Melvin saw the phone in her home and decided to call her. When Emma got a call from her own number, she assumed it was a family member. But when she called back, Melvin identified himself, and it must have been a chilling realization.
Emma was shocked to hear Melvin casually speaking on her home phone, claiming he had permission to be there. Emma, completely bewildered, insisted she didn’t know who he was. The restraining order also covers her 3-year-old son, who Melvin mentioned by name, making Emma even more scared. The break-in happened on May 7th or 8th, and that’s when Melvin used her home phone to call her cell phone. Initially, she thought the missed call from her home number was from a family member, so she called back, only to hear the voice of a stranger.
Imagine the fear Emma must have felt in that moment, calling her home and hearing an unfamiliar voice. Her stomach must have dropped. Melvin addressed her by name and claimed to have permission to be there, which Emma immediately denied. I actually met Emma at a Coachella event, and she was incredibly nice. Despite what some reports say about her, she was friendly and pleasant at Coachella, maybe just in a good mood that day.
Emma claims she got a strange text from Melvin, which has left her terrified that he might try to return to her home. As a result, the judge issued a restraining order against him. Melvin referred to her by name and claimed she had given him permission to enter and stay in her house. Emma says he also sent her a disturbing message. In the end, the judge signed a permanent restraining order. While Emma might feel some relief, stalking often feels like a mental illness. A restraining order isn’t like a prescription or therapy—it doesn’t cure someone. In fact, it might even make them more agitated.
In a frightening twist, Kim Kardashian has a connection to Emma Roberts through the same stalker. According to documents, Kim got a call from Emma warning her about a man who had broken into Emma’s house and expressed a desire to contact Kim and her kids. Emma received a warning from Melvin through a call or text, saying he was also targeting Kim and her children.
What is going on with this 32-year-old man? Does he have nothing better to do than harass these women and their families? The day after Emma’s stalker broke into her home, he showed up at Kris Jenner’s house. He told security he thought it was Kim’s house, claimed to be her longtime manager, and even said he played for the Toronto Raptors. He mentioned he had an appointment to meet her that day. What exactly is Melvin planning to do once he gets to these women? What are his intentions?
Last month, Melvin showed up at Kim’s Malibu home, where security confronted him at the perimeter fence. He threatened to jump the fence, but security managed to stop him. Kim mentioned in legal documents that her Malibu home is hard to find and isn’t publicized, so Melvin had to go to great lengths to locate it. He expressed a desire to contact Kim and her children, causing her significant concern and emotional distress. Unfortunately, Melvin is not Kim’s only stalker; she has had several others, including some as recently as last year.
Another stalker, named Jamine, broke into Kim Kardashian’s gated community before being arrested. Although he didn’t reach her property, getting into the community was alarming enough. Jamine is severely delusional, believing he is married to Kim and sending her expensive gifts, like a diamond ring and hotel key cards, which has scared her. Kim expressed her fear over his delusional belief that they are in a relationship, especially considering the significant money he has spent on these gifts.
Jamine Ziggler, the alleged stalker, was arrested on Friday after making his way into Kim’s gated community, getting dangerously close to her house. Despite multiple warnings from a judge, he has repeatedly shown up at her home. He began contacting her in December 2022 and escalated to visiting her home in 2023. Authorities discovered that Ziggler has a criminal background, including possession of weapons and making threats, deeming him dangerous.
There are two people who are fixated on Kim Kardashian, but there’s also a third person, Andre, who believes he can communicate with her telepathically. It’s wild. Did Kim ever think that becoming a celebrity would lead to people believing they could talk to her with their minds? I wouldn’t know how to handle that. Andre has shown up at her house three times as of August 2022, and Kim is worried that this could turn violent, even though she’s never met him.
Kim Kardashian has secured a restraining order against Andre Purad, who claims he can communicate with her telepathically. A Los Angeles court granted her a 5-year protection order after Andre showed up at her house three times in August, claiming to be armed. He even traveled to New York while Kim was there on business and tried to get into her hotel room. Kim says that although they’ve never met, he posts about her on social media and claimed they were communicating telepathically. The order requires him to stay at least 100 yards away from her, bans him from owning guns, and demands he surrender any he already has.
Thankfully, this order stops him from having a gun and forces him to give up any weapons. But what happens after five years? Will he come back for revenge once the order expires? It’s scary, and it’s not fair that celebrities have to live in fear. Being famous shouldn’t mean dealing with threats, home invasions, or danger to their families. The justice system needs to rethink what stalking means and how to handle it.
In the UK, for example, there seems to be more protection and stricter penalties for stalking, like in the case of Harry Styles. They also focus more on mental health evaluations. The US should consider this approach. Determined people will find ways to get to you, and by “they,” I mean stalkers, not the government or police.
So, Kim and Emma both starred in “American Horror Story: Delicate” together. Maybe that’s why Kim moved on from Emma to Kim. They’re also executive producing a new series called “Calabasas” for Netflix. I’m not sure what it’s about yet, but I’m definitely curious.
