Drake has turned to AI to jest with Kendrick Lamar, given Kendrick’s silence in response to Drake’s diss track, “Push-Ups.” I’ve previously dissected the ongoing feud between Drake, Kendrick, Future, Metro Boomin, and even Rick Ross. Much has unfolded since then. Rick Ross has been teasing Drake relentlessly, adding a humorous touch akin to his baby mama, Tia. Ah, what a splendid day. Emerging from a nap, it dawns on me: BBL! Drizzy sought advice from his mother about me and shared their text exchange. Cupcake Drake, did you tell your mama you missed curfew? Oh, the irony of wanting to loiter in the park and puff on joints while we cruise in our vintage Chevys. Do you even own a Chevy, white boy? I highly doubt it. But I digress. Big-nosed lad, with your 25% body fat masquerading as a chiseled six-pack, we see through the facade. That vanity project set you back a hefty sum of 40 grand.

Rick must chill. Nevertheless, Rick Ross isn’t really relevant here because Drake is eager for confrontation with Kendrick Lamar. Kendrick has been asserting his dominance, boasting about being the best and claiming to outshine others in the rap game. He directly targeted Drake in his track “Like That” as a response to Drake and J. Cole’s collaboration “Firsters.”

J. Cole did reply to Kendrick initially, but he later withdrew his diss. Many expected Drake to back down, considering Kendrick’s intimidating aura. However, Drake is provoking Kendrick, not willing to back off. Despite the belief that Kendrick silenced Drake, the Canadian rapper is defiant, hitting back with his own diss track titled “Push-Ups.” He’s ready for the challenge—drop and give him 50!
Since then, Drake has persistently pressured Kendrick to retaliate. He’s been taunting Kendrick and his manager, essentially challenging Kendrick’s ability to counter him. Drake initiated this feud for attention, seeking to provoke and boost his own reputation. However, Drake perceives Kendrick as evading confrontation, prompting Drake to persist in his provocation. Recently, he released another diss track titled “Taylor Made,” suggesting that Kendrick is intentionally delaying his response due to fear of being overshadowed by Taylor Swift’s recent album release. Drake believes Kendrick’s delay is tailor-made to accommodate Swift’s prominence. Moreover, there’s speculation whether Drake is leveraging AI in his diss tracks, further intertwining his promotion with cutting-edge technology.

I’d like to discuss Drake’s diss track, “Taylor Made,” because it takes pettiness to a whole new level. He incorporated AI versions of Tupac and Snoop Dogg into the song, with the AI personas pleading for Kendrick Lamar to respond to Drake. While the concept might seem amusing, I find it problematic that someone else’s voice and likeness are being utilized and manipulated for this AI experiment. It appears that the ongoing feud between Kendrick and Drake could be exploited by record labels for AI experimentation.

Joe Budden initially raised this concern, and although I was skeptical at first, it’s becoming an intriguing conspiracy theory. Initially, there was confusion over whether Kendrick had released two diss tracks aimed at Drake, only to later discover that they were AI-generated. Now, Drake has followed suit by incorporating AI into his diss track, using the voices of Snoop Dogg and Tupac, which is both astonishing and disrespectful.

However, the fact that he’s involved raises questions. Is he collaborating with certain labels to experiment with AI? I’m not accusing, just pondering. According to reliable sources, it’s all Drake’s doing. He’s behind the Kendrick leaks and the AI leaks. It adds up; Drake has the resources and the motive. If I were scheming with AI, I’d want a trial run too, a sophisticated one. And since I’ve cleaned house, I need to prove myself even more. War may be grim, but it’s profitable. Why not pit the three biggest acts against each other? They’re all under Universal, after all. It’s good for business, plain and simple. But then, I start feeling like a pawn. The deeper I delve, the more I see Joe Budden’s insights ring true. He’s onto something; labels are eyeing AI to replace artists eventually. It’s about saving costs and boosting profits, keeping it all in-house. They’ve already dabbled with FN MAA, the virtual rapper, but the public backlash stalled that experiment. The industry’s taking note, pausing their AI artist plans for now.

Right now, it seems they’ve enlisted Drake as a pawn in this overarching scheme. They’re gradually introducing and acclimating us to AI usage. If Joe Budden’s claims about Drake’s involvement hold true, then Drake is essentially betraying his roots. Many artists are currently opposing AI because it infringes upon their creative rights – their content, likeness, and voices are utilized without consent. It’s ironic that Drake, who will likely face replacement by AI in the future, is promoting it.

Upon reflection, J. Cole’s decision to step away from the feud seems wise. It wasn’t about fear of competition but rather a realization of being manipulated for label gains. Feuds between prominent artists generate revenue for labels. Drake’s AI endorsement signals a departure from hip-hop’s essence into something more dubious. His incorporation of Snoop Dogg and Tupac’s voices adds another layer of messiness to the situation. While initially amusing, it’s concerning upon deeper consideration.

Snoop Dogg just found out about his voice being featured in this AI diss track and seemed genuinely surprised. Did he really have no clue? It’s hard to say. Maybe Drake gave him a heads-up and slipped him some cash. But if Snoop was in the loop, it’s a bit shady because he essentially allowed Drake to use him to console his nephew, Kendrick.

Wait, what? When did this happen? How did it go down? My phone’s blowing up with calls, what’s going on? I’m out, going back to bed. Good night.

This whole situation is a mess. Seeing it unfold makes me hesitant about Kendrick responding. But he’ll have to address it eventually. Maybe he should hold off until he releases his album. Rumor has it, it’s dropping in May, which would be the perfect time to clap back. People will be tuning in, and he can turn it into a marketing win. That’d be a savvy move. Anyway, share your thoughts on the video below. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe. Thanks for watching, catch you next time. Bye!”
