According to Billboard, the feud between Ailia and rapper Iggy Aelia started in October 2011. They had a Twitter spat about who was the first to make a song about their “Kitty box.” Ailia escalated things by tweeting at Iggy Aelia, “White girls, well damn, tell us how you really feel.” She went on to say that white people shouldn’t be allowed to rap since rap music is deeply rooted in Black culture.

In 2012, both Iggy and Ailia were signed to Interscope Records. That same year, Iggy made history as the first female to secure a spot in XXL’s freshman class, which didn’t sit well with Ailia. She criticized Iggy, pointing out her controversial lyrics where she referred to herself as a “runaway slave master.” Ailia tweeted her disbelief at XXL’s endorsement of Iggy.

T.I., who was mentoring Iggy at the time, defended her on DJ Drama’s radio show, dismissing Ailia as a hater. He mockingly called her “AIA Banks” and downplayed her relevance, saying, “Nobody knows her.”

Later in 2012, Iggy was reportedly dropped by Interscope Records and signed with Def Jam. Many speculated that Ailia had a hand in Iggy’s departure from Interscope. The tension between them simmered down until 2014, following the murder of Michael Brown by Officer Darren Wilson. The hip-hop community, including Ailia, became more vocal about the Black Lives Matter movement, highlighting a divide within the industry.
When it came to Iggy, she was as quiet as a church mouse. Ailia jumped on Twitter and posted, “It’s funny to see people like Igloo Australia stay silent when these things happen. Black culture is cool, but black issues sure aren’t, huh? Got him.” Black Twitter backed Ailia, and later, Iggy told Elle Canada that Ailia was the reason she got canceled during the Black Lives Matter movement. “No, your silence was the reason you got canceled, okay?”

Things got dark during a March 2016 interview with Power 106, where Iggy admitted she’d had thoughts of taking her own life because of how tough the past year had been. When The Shade Room shared a clip from the interview, Ailia commented, “Yes, slave master. Drive that slave truck right off the canyon.”

Months later, Iggy announced on Snapchat that the feud was over. They’d even collaborated on a song called “Shade,” although it was never released. Iggy and her then-boyfriend, Playboi Carti, welcomed their son Onyx in 2020. In 2022, Ailia tweeted that despite all the opportunities Iggy had in the industry, she ended up as a single mom, a fate her whiteness was supposed to shield her from. “Shot fired.” Clearly, this feud is still going strong.

When T.I. inserted himself into Ailia’s beef with Iggy, he earned a spot on Ailia’s hate list. “Here we go again.” T.I. and Iggy had released the 2014 song “No Mediocre,” with T.I. rapping, “All is bad, I don’t want no mediocre. Don’t want no mediocre.”
“I don’t want no mediocre, no bad only. Ain’t no mediocre. Don’t want no mediocre. I won’t hit no mediocre.”

After hearing the song, Ailia jumped on Twitter and wrote, “You want no mediocre, but have you seen your wife?” She didn’t hold back, calling T.I.’s wife, Tiny Harris, a “busted pumpkin” and saying, “Your wife has meth face.”

Tiny responded, “Now why am I in it?” T.I. then fired back, calling Ailia every name in the book and warning her, “I will end you if you talk bad about my family again.” He finished his rant with, “You better watch your step, you ugly-ass Gremlin baby.”

“Yeah, not a damn Gremlin baby.”

In 2013, Rita Ora posted a photo on Instagram wearing jelly sandals, saying she was bringing the look back. Ailia wasn’t having it. She tweeted that Rita was copying her style since she had worn jelly sandals the year before.

“Not her fussing over some damn sandals.”

“Oh, Jesus.”

“Y’all do realize that there’s a whole generation who were the first to wear jelly sandals, right?”

Things got even messier because Ailia and Rita were on tour together when this drama blew up. Ailia accused Rita of trying to intimidate her ever since she joined the tour.

She also accused Rita of being desperate for attention, claiming that Rita had climbed the wall of her dancers’ dressing room to take pictures of her. “Girl, why would anyone do that?” Rita reached out to Ailia via text, but Ailia turned around and posted the messages on Instagram. According to Marie CLA, the real issue wasn’t about the jelly shoes—they were actually feuding over supermodel Cara Delevingne. An insider revealed that Ailia and Cara were close until Rita came into the picture. Once Rita started calling Cara her “wifey,” Ailia reportedly got possessive and has held a grudge ever since.

In 2016, Zayn Malik released the music video for “Like I Would.” Almost immediately, Ailia accused him of copying her. She tweeted, “Damn, Zayn, be mood-boarding the hell out of me.” She added that she wasn’t mad because she found Zayn attractive. Zayn responded by tweeting, “My @ is too good for you.” That was enough to set Ailia off. In a tweet, she told the British singer, “The USA is about to teach you who not to mess with.”

She then made offensive remarks about his Pakistani heritage, calling him a derogatory term and accusing him of trying to be a white boy imitating black culture. Ailia also used a homophobic slur and called him a “hairy curry-scented [ __ ].” Actress Skai Jackson, who was 14 at the time, decided to jump in for some reason and tweeted, “Ailia Banks needs to simmer down a little.” Ailia responded harshly, telling Skai, “And you need to grow some hips and start your menses.”
“Hey, little one, maybe it’s best to focus on your own stuff, especially during Mental Health Awareness Month.” After some back-and-forth, Ailia faced some serious fallout – she got booted from a UK festival and had her Twitter account taken down. She later apologized publicly to Zayn, but the damage was already done. Meanwhile, things got messy with actor Russell Crowe and Wu-Tang rapper RZA. Here’s the scoop: Ailia tagged along with RZA to Russell’s party at a swanky Beverly Hills hotel, where they were collaborating on a project. But things took a turn. Ailia claimed Russell threw racial slurs at her, got physical, and tossed her out of the party. She said nobody, including RZA, stepped in. TMZ got in touch with witnesses who had a different story. They said Ailia started it all by dissing Russell’s taste in music and throwing insults. When confronted, she allegedly threatened violence. These insiders also said it was Ailia, not Russell, who used racial slurs. They claimed Russell kept his cool until Ailia tried to throw a glass, at which point he showed her the door. On TMZ Live, RZA backed up these witnesses, painting Ailia as the troublemaker with wild behavior. He denied Russell’s racial slurs but admitted to the spitting incident, saying Ailia had it coming.

“You know, I love you white people, but y’all, y’all, y’all, y’all resort to that spit,” RZA said with a chuckle. “Hell no, RZA, hell no,” he continued, shaking his head.

“But we can all agree that Ailia needs to get in line right behind Amanda Seales for that autistic spectrum testing or whatever she thinks she has. A mental health evaluation is what she needs, yes, ma’am, yes, sir.”

Ailia took to Facebook, claiming she had proof that Russell was the aggressor. She even filed a battery report with the Beverly Hills Police, but the district attorney decided not to prosecute Russell due to a lack of sufficient evidence. “So what happened to those receipts, Ailia?” RZA questioned.

Her latest feud has rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, leaving many to wonder if Ailia has finally gone too far. To give you some context, we need to go back to 2015 when comedian DC Young Fly met Jackie Smith, better known as Jackie O, on the set of Wild ‘N Out. In 2018, Ailia appeared on the show, and during a segment, DC roasted Nick Cannon, accidentally dragging Ailia into it. “My boy Nick Cannon is so petty. How petty is he? He couldn’t get a B, so he got a Z, your ugly ass.”

Fast forward to May 2023, just two months before DC and Jackie O were set to celebrate their youngest son’s first birthday. Jackie flew to Miami to undergo a mommy makeover.

A “mommy makeover” can include a tummy tuck, breast augmentation, breast lift, liposuction, and rejuvenation of the lower lady parts. Jackie went through this surgery and was staying in a nearby house afterward. Unfortunately, according to the Miami Police Department, she was found unresponsive in her room on the evening of May 31st, 2023. She was rushed to Mercy Hospital, but despite efforts to save her, she was pronounced dead shortly before midnight at the age of 33.

A few days after Jackie’s death, Ailia posted a series of emotional messages on her Instagram stories. She seemed to be still upset about an incident on “Wild ‘N Out” five years ago, where DC had made jokes about women’s appearances, which Ailia felt stemmed from his own insecurities. Some sources mistakenly reported Jackie’s age as 32, but Ailia clarified that she had just celebrated her 32nd birthday on May 31st, the same day Jackie passed away. Ailia also told people to stop messing with her.

Some people interpreted Ailia’s posts as implying that DC’s treatment of her might have had some sort of karmic impact on Jackie’s death. Others speculated about Ailia’s involvement in witchcraft, since she’s known to practice it. Social media was quick to criticize Ailia, calling her evil, sick, and unwell. This backlash is just the latest in a series of criticisms Ailia has faced throughout her career. We’ll have to wait and see what she says next. If anyone ever needed a team to manage her public image, it’s Ailia.
