SWV feels slighted, especially after filming a reality show with Xscape, thinking it would lead to a joint tour. It’s clear now that Xscape isn’t interested in sharing the spotlight. Egos might play a part, but it ultimately boils down to money. Xscape is accustomed to a certain income, and splitting the earnings equally with us doesn’t sit well with them. They’ve grown accustomed to headlining gigs, thanks to their TV exposure. Candy and Tiny’s reality TV stints have boosted their popularity, enabling them to draw larger crowds and demand higher fees. While I understand their perspective, the delivery was off-putting. It’s as if they believe they’re too superior to share the stage with us. It’s a disappointing situation, both for SWV and our fans. Granted, a joint tour would still be lucrative for all parties involved. But Xscape operates differently; they demand more and aren’t willing to budge.
