Hey everyone Today, we’ve got some surprising news about Disney star Skai Jackson. We’re talking about her recent arrest, her secret engagement, and her pregnancy.

So, here’s what happened: Skai was reportedly involved in an altercation with her boyfriend at Universal CityWalk last week. According to TMZ, she pushed him a few times, and security ended up detaining both of them.

But here’s where things get even more surprising. Amidst all this, Skai and her boyfriend have revealed that they’re actually engaged and expecting a baby. They’ve said that despite the incident, they’re happily looking forward to their future together.

Even though Skai tried to reassure the officer that everything was fine, she’s still not out of the woods. The LA District Attorney’s office is now reviewing the case because she was caught on camera pushing her boyfriend. There’s a chance she could face a misdemeanor battery charge. It’s a messy situation, right? I mean, seeing Skai, who’s so much smaller than her boyfriend, getting involved in something like this is hard to imagine. But no matter her size, she has to be held accountable. It’s never okay for anyone to put their hands on someone else, regardless of gender.

This is the first time we’ve seen Skai in a domestic violence incident, and it’s especially troubling since she’s engaged and expecting a child. Bringing a baby into a turbulent situation like this is tough, especially when the parents are already fighting. We don’t know much about her fiancé—whether he’s genuinely in it for love or if he’s looking for a financial gain. Is he a rapper? Did she meet him under unusual circumstances? It’s unclear.

It’s sad because Skai had so much potential. She was a Disney Channel star with a bright future. She could have taken her career to new heights, like Marai Martin did. Unfortunately, her brand has taken hits with all this drama, and this recent arrest is a tough one to shake off. For her sake and her baby’s, I hope we don’t see more of these altercations. It’s damaging to her relationship, her reputation, and her brand.

Switching gears, Simone Biles is dealing with something different. Her biological mother, Shannon Biles, gave an interview with the Daily Mail and is now publicly asking Simone to reach out to her. Shannon wants to explain why she wasn’t in Simone’s life.
Simone Biles’ path to Olympic greatness is deeply rooted in a challenging past. Her mother struggled with addiction, which led to Simone and her siblings being placed into foster care. Simone was only three years old when this happened. But when she turned six, her life took a pivotal turn. She and her sister Adria were adopted by their grandfather Ronald and his wife Nelly, who became the parents that helped shape Simone into the extraordinary athlete she is today.

In an interview on the “Call Me Daddy” podcast, Simone opened up about her early experiences:

Interviewer: “When you were three and went into foster care, what was going on at home that led to that?”

Simone: “I was so young, just three years old, so I didn’t really understand it at the time. As I got older, I learned it was because of drug and alcohol abuse. My mom wasn’t around much, and people reported the situation, which led to CPS getting involved. We were placed into foster care. I remember being anxious, especially at bedtime, because my brother was in the room next door. We were used to being close, and the idea of being separated was really scary. Even though I was with my sister, I’d sneak into my brother’s room because I didn’t understand why we couldn’t all stay together.”

Interviewer: “Did your adoptive parents ever talk to you about your biological parents?”

Simone: “Not really. Maybe it was because we didn’t ask much. We knew who our biological mom was, but it was confusing. Shannon was her name, and explaining that to people was always weird. I’d say, ‘My biological mom is also my dad’s daughter,’ and it would just leave people puzzled.”

Interviewer: “Your grandparents adopted you at six. How did that change your life?”
Simone spoke about her adoption with a deep sense of gratitude and uncertainty: “I honestly don’t know where I’d be without being adopted. I could have ended up like so many other foster kids who face tough odds. When you turn 18, you’re out of the system, and if you haven’t made it to college, you’re left to fend for yourself. Many don’t even finish high school, so it’s easy to end up on the streets. I worry about what my life could have been.”

Her biological mother, Shannon, has had a rough journey since losing custody of her children. She’s been struggling with debt, had to file for bankruptcy, and lives in a tough neighborhood. She’s also been dealing with addiction. Recently, Shannon gave an interview to the Daily Mail, where she expressed a desire to reconnect with Simone.

“I’m here and I want Simone to reach out when she’s ready,” Shannon said. “I’d love for us to sit down and talk. There’s a lot I want to explain, and I hope she knows that I love her and am proud of her. I’m an addict, and that’s something I’ll always deal with, but I want to share what I’ve learned about staying away from those old habits and making a better life. I do have her number, but I haven’t called. I want her to make the first move. She’s 27 now and married—I would have loved to be involved in her life, but I just have to wait.”

This interview left me feeling a bit unsettled. It feels like the Daily Mail might have sought out Shannon for a story, which makes me wonder about her real intentions. If Shannon genuinely wanted to reconnect, she could easily reach out to Simone herself. The fact that she has Simone’s number but hasn’t used it, and her reluctance to take any initiative, makes it seem like her desire to reconnect might not be as sincere as it sounds. It’s probably why Simone remains distant.
Shannon could definitely close the gap if she wanted to, but her pride and sense of entitlement are getting in the way. It’s unrealistic to expect Simone, the daughter she left behind, to reach out after all these years. It feels like Shannon might just be saying what she thinks will make for a compelling interview, rather than genuinely trying to reconnect with Simone.

Still, I really hope Shannon gets the help she needs for her addiction. It’s such a tough issue that’s clearly taken a toll on her life, including her relationship with her kids. That’s really heartbreaking.

Who knows what the future holds for Shannon and Simone? Maybe they’ll find a way to connect eventually. I’d love to hear what you think about this video. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe if you enjoyed it, and share it if you care.
