I’m interested in working with you too. Yeah, I hung out with Puff for a while, and we were just partying. Puff loved to party. Then I started spending time with Diddy, almost two years, but we never hit the studio once. He’d talk about my talent, but it was all just fun and games.

Recently, the internet blew up when it was revealed that The Game had been involved with Diddy for over a decade. Apparently, Diddy has been secretly supporting him financially, and in return, The Game lets Diddy do whatever he wants.

To make things even crazier, Rick Ross jumped in and mocked The Game for letting Diddy take advantage of him. This is surprising because Rick Ross was one of the first to call out Diddy for exploiting men in Hollywood. Now, people think Rick Ross knew about The Game and Diddy’s relationship all along but kept it quiet until now. It seems like the whole industry has been in on it and needs a serious reset.

For those who aren’t aware, The Game and Rick Ross have been feuding for the past few days. It all started when The Game released a diss track called “Freeway’s Revenge,” where he took some unprovoked shots at Rick Ross. Many people thought The Game did this to show his support for Drake since Rick Ross has been one of Drake’s critics during their ongoing feud. But this explanation didn’t sit well with most people because Rick Ross has never said anything bad about The Game. If this was really about Drake, it would have made more sense for The Game to go after Kendrick Lamar instead of Rick Ross.

In the diss track, The Game accused Rick Ross of being on OIC and receiving golden showers from his baby mama, Tia. He rapped, “You’re two lemon pepper wings away from a heart attack, academics get this ninja OIC starter pack. Kai cette, hit the room, turn that stream on, ask Button about his brief encounter with King Kong. This isn’t the Kendrick beef, M. Drake sings songs, shots ring out, the neighbor better have his ring on. He’s popping pills, they’re starting to mess with his brain, seizures off the lean. Balenciaga shorts got the poopy stains, your baby mama told me you like to get peed on.”
Rick Ross, on the other hand, didn’t take the diss track seriously at all. Instead, he trolled The Game in a series of videos on Instagram. “You [ __ ] don’t want to eat, you don’t want to eat. Must not be starving. You starving,” he mocked. At one point, Rick Ross even invited The Game to join him in an ice skating competition, showing just how little he cared about the whole situation. “30 days, we’re going to have a skating challenge. I’mma challenge any of you men. Mayweather, Chris Brown, what’s up?” he joked.

This only made The Game angrier, leading him to post a 5,000-word essay on Instagram, claiming that Rick Ross was scared of him. People were confused about why The Game was putting so much energy into dissing Rick Ross. Some speculated that Rick Ross didn’t take The Game seriously because he allegedly saw The Game bending over for Diddy, which made him doubt The Game’s gangster image.

Back in 2014, Rick Ross, Diddy, and The Game had collaborated on a track called “Don’t.” After that, both Rick Ross and The Game developed close relationships with Diddy, but in very different ways. Rick Ross remained strictly a friend, often seen hanging out with Diddy. The Game, however, became more like Diddy’s “sugar baby.” Diddy took care of him, flew him to foreign countries, took him on shopping sprees, and brought him to his infamous parties.

We wouldn’t have known any of this if The Game hadn’t spilled the tea himself during his 2022 interview on Drink Champs. Apparently, Diddy came knocking with an offer to team up on an album. But instead of heading to the studio, they spent almost two years jet-setting to exotic locations and living it up. Diddy was incredibly generous, showering The Game with lavish gifts like luxury watches and expensive chains. The Game said, “I started hanging out with Diddy, and for almost two years, we never went to the studio. He’d say, ‘I like your demo. Bad Boy, bad boy. But hey, here’s a watch, here’s a chain.’ And I’d be like, ‘Are we ever going to record?’ But then he’d say, ‘The jet leaves at five. We’re going to Miami, New York, ATL this weekend. Come on, Playboy, let’s go,’ and we’d just travel everywhere together.”

Earlier this year, The Game stopped by Vlad TV for another chat, right after some wild allegations about Diddy were making the rounds. He brought up that time again, revealing that instead of making music, they partied non-stop for two years. And where did all this partying happen? Mostly in Atlanta, among other places.

“Before you worked with Dre, wasn’t Puffy interested in working with you too?”

“Yeah, Puff was. I spent some time with him, but we mostly partied. Puff loved to party, and that’s basically all we did. We might have gone to the studio once or twice, but I don’t think I ever recorded anything. It was just non-stop partying.”

“But Puffy was a huge deal back then. He still is, but he was especially influential in music back then. And there he was, running around with you. He’s always been a busy guy.”

Sure, here is a more natural, human-like rewrite of the text:

“I was hanging out with him a lot.”

“Really? Were you guys talking about signing a deal or what happened?”

“Nah, Puff wanted to sign me. He was busy, though, with his restaurant Justin’s in Atlanta, so we were in and out of there. We attended a lot of parties in Atlanta with him, V, Big Wolf, Fab, and JY. Fab was already established, Jez was up and coming, but we just partied, man.”

As this started to go viral, people began speculating if Diddy was trying to make a move on The Game. If you recall, 50 Cent previously accused Diddy of making a similar move on him by offering to take him shopping. 50 Cent found it odd because such offers are typically made to women, not to another man, especially not one who’s just a work buddy. They weren’t even close friends, so the offer was really suspicious, and 50 Cent immediately sensed Diddy’s intentions.

50 Cent described the situation like this: “First, he was trying to get me to do things for him, then he was like, ‘Yo, when are we going to hang out? We should just chill and kick it. How about we go shopping? I’ll pay for it.’ I was like, ‘What did he just say?'”

But that’s not all. In another interview with Vlad TV, shortly after collaborating with Diddy and Rick Ross, The Game revealed even more. When asked if he had worked with any closeted rappers, he confirmed and discussed how some rappers pretend to like women but are actually involved with men unprotected, spreading STDs.

“Have you worked with a gay rapper?”

“Yeah, man, and not just openly gay, but those hiding it, pretending to love women and live the rap lifestyle while actually being into men. That closet stuff is scary, you know? It’s unfair to others. They might infect a girl, who then gives it to another guy who isn’t gay. It spreads like that.”

Regarding Rick Ross, he didn’t directly mention The Game, but in his 2009 song “Magnificent,” he alluded to Diddy’s behavior. He rapped, “I made a transition from the thieves to the biggest executive Def Jam’s ever seen. The game never changed, money still a focal, but it’s time to the game like Puffy did Total.” This situation highlights some of the questionable actions in the industry.
As usual, people had their own opinions on the matter. One person commented, “50 turned down the shopping spree, but obviously, the game did not. We all know what comes with those shopping sprees.” Another added, “Do you honestly believe the game wasn’t compromised by the Diddler? These men get victimized and start tattooing their entire bodies to mask the shame. Look at Bieber and the others.” Interpret that as you will.

Now, I want to hear from you. What do you think about the game being Diddy’s boy toy, and how do you feel about Rick Ross mocking him for it? Share your thoughts in the comments below
