There’s buzz that Remy Ma may have set up her son to take the fall after she was caught allegedly trying to harm Nicki Minaj. It seems the feud between Nicki and Remy is far from over, with rumors suggesting that Remy and her son Jason Scott were plotting against Nicki. This follows Jason’s arrest for the murder of Nicki’s husband’s cousin. Allegedly, Nicki was the intended target, but Jason ended up killing her cousin instead. Now, people are calling for Remy to be jailed too, accusing her of dragging her son into this mess.

Jason and his friend must have done something really disturbing to end up in this situation. It turns out Jason and Richard killed a man named Darius Gilbo. Darius was quite popular on the streets of Queens, New York, because of his strong gang affiliations. Known as D-Block, he was one of 54 people indicted in a sweeping investigation called Operation Heatwave in November 2020. He was charged with supplying a drug ring in Upstate Jefferson County, according to Attorney General Letitia James. An NYPD officer told XXL magazine that police responded to a 911 call about a man shot at the intersection of 148th Street and Rockaway Boulevard, within the 113th Precinct. When they arrived, officers found a 47-year-old man unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple gunshot wounds to the head and chest. EMS arrived and transported him to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
This revelation shocked many, but those who know Remy’s history with the law weren’t surprised. Remy has a criminal past and likely influenced her son negatively. In 2008, she was sentenced to eight years in prison for shooting her friend, suspecting her of stealing money while they were clubbing in New York. During her trial, Remy reportedly ordered her associates to intimidate the boyfriend of a waitress who witnessed the incident, aiming to prevent her from testifying against her. It sounds unbelievable, but it’s true.
As for Jason, the man he and his friend killed wasn’t just another street goon; he was the cousin of Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty. This led to speculation that Remy might have orchestrated the crime, seeking revenge for her long-standing feud with Nicki. Remy’s animosity towards Nicki dates back to her time in jail.
