“Recently, Rashida issued a stern warning to K. Michelle following yet another instance of shade thrown by K. Michelle. This ongoing feud dates back to 2012 when Rashida accused K. Michelle of fabricating allegations about her boyfriend Memphis. Despite the unclear motivation behind Rashida’s decision to publicly confront K. Michelle over an issue she wasn’t directly involved in, tensions between them have only escalated over time. K. Michelle has consistently seized opportunities to criticize Rashida, even targeting her for reconciling with her husband Kirk despite his history of infidelity, including fathering a child with another woman.

In one instance, K. Michelle expressed her disdain, stating, ‘When someone belittles your experience of abuse, blocks you from basic amenities, and then hypocritically preaches about female empowerment on public platforms… that hypocrisy doesn’t fade away.'”

If you’ve been following Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, you’re likely familiar with the heated feud between K. Michelle and Rashida that erupted back in 2012, culminating in a physical altercation during the reunion show. The feud ignited when Rashida called out K. Michelle for allegedly fabricating claims about her boyfriend Memphis being abusive. Rashida asserted she had spoken with Memphis and his wife Toya Wright, uncovering inconsistencies in K. Michelle’s narrative. In response, K. Michelle accused Rashida of exploiting her own trauma for attention, alleging that Rashida initially supported her but later switched sides to align with Memphis and Toya when things got tough.

In a candid exchange, Rashida explained her perspective, acknowledging her longstanding friendship with Memphis and Toya, and how she had heard both sides of the story. When asked about her current stance on the matter and K. Michelle’s claims, Rashida maintained a neutral position, stating that while it wasn’t her place to judge, she harbored doubts about K. Michelle’s credibility.

‘Wow, I truly appreciate your support, regardless of everything. For the past three years, I’ve been dedicated to helping women who have experienced domestic violence. Despite any controversies surrounding K. Michelle or my own actions, I don’t claim to always make the right decisions. I’ve never portrayed myself as flawless. What I’ve always maintained is that what happened to me is my reality.’

“And Rashida, you may not believe it, but you were there every episode, collecting your paycheck, empathizing with me, shedding tears alongside me. But when things got tough after the first episode aired, you walked away.”

“I didn’t walk away.” “Yes, you did.” “When it got tough, the leader left, and we had to carry on without you.” “If you’re calling yourself the leader, then tell Scarecrow to be quiet.”

Many criticized Rashida, suggesting she only threw K. Michelle under the bus because of her close friendship with Memphis’s wife, Toya. They felt she was defending her best friend’s husband against his ex-partner. Memphitz vehemently denied ever being violent towards K. Michelle and even filed a defamation lawsuit against her for damaging his reputation. However, during the court proceedings, he admitted to a physical altercation with K. Michelle in a Memphis hotel in 2009. He also confessed to using her money to buy jewelry and sending threatening messages about harming her son.

“CH, you wouldn’t believe it. That guy knew he was completely guilty of all the accusations against him, yet he still chose to waste his own money and everyone else’s time with that pointless lawsuit.”

“Regarding your ordeal with your ex-boyfriend who held a high position at the Jive label and allegedly abused you physically, how has that affected you? Have you faced any repercussions?” “No, I anticipated the outcome and the reactions. It’s reminiscent of what occurred at the label when I attempted to speak up. Eventually, he confessed to the abuse, but I never expected him to admit it. He confessed to the label executives, including Peter Edges, and to his subordinate Glenn Delgado. I managed to break away from the label, despite owing $2 million, because they couldn’t afford the risk of a lawsuit. They had no option but to let me go. Did you ever consider legal action against either the label or him for what occurred? Why did you choose not to involve the police at the time?”

“It’s on me, you know? I should’ve gone to the police right away. I was in love, and he was my best friend, dealing with his own demons after his father’s death and all. I wasn’t out to get him, you feel me? Love messes with your head, makes you doubt yourself. Maybe I messed up, but I couldn’t just leave him. Eventually, I did walk away. It was messy, and suing the label never crossed my mind. You don’t want to get blacklisted in the music biz, you know?”

“But here’s the kicker: even after he confessed to hurting her, he’s still denying it, and Rashida never said sorry to K. Michelle for calling her a liar. So K. Michelle went in hard, never letting up on Rashida. It started in 2016 with a savage Snapchat video mocking Rashida’s rap career and calling her out for doubting her about Memphis.”

“Listen, sweetheart, Rashida, your rap game looks faker than bubblegum. Remember when they tried to drag me on Love & Hip Hop, calling me a liar? Well, your career seems like the real lie to me.”

“And that was just the beginning. K. Michelle wasn’t finished. A few months later, Rashida’s husband Kirk got caught cheating, even having a whole baby with an ex-stripper named Jasmine Washington. Kirk acted clueless at first, but a DNA test proved otherwise. Rashida stuck with him, accepting the child, but K. Michelle kept coming at her.”

Initially, she targeted both Rashida and her former Love & Hip Hop co-star, Mimi Faust, in her track “F your man,” mocking Rashida for reconciling with Kirk after his infidelity and criticizing Mimi for her leaked tape with ex, Nico London, where she clung to a shower rod.

In the song, K. Michelle asserted, “But I’m better than you and him ’cause I don’t want nobody with 40 rings and a baby that’s not from me or have me hanging from the shower rod recording me.” Later, when asked about Rashida and Kirk’s situation, she seized the chance to throw shade, mixing maturity with subtle digs.

While acknowledging their love and human error, she expressed, “There’s a tough one, they seem really in love and we all make mistakes, she knows her heart and her limits, I wish them well, but it couldn’t be me, I ain’t welcoming no stranger’s baby.”

Despite the mature start, she couldn’t resist adding, “Now, y’all know she could have left that last part out.” K. Michelle even stirred the pot during a teaser for Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’s Season 7 Reunion, igniting a comment war after Rashida refused to apologize for calling her a liar.

Demanding an apology, K. Michelle vented, “But you owe me, me something, an effing apology for calling me a liar, making fun of my entire situation, said I’d never find a man like yours, well, I don’t want one. I forgive you, but you and your crew put me through this, is no joke.” Yet Rashida brushed off the drama, choosing not to engage further.

Despite K. Michelle’s persistence, Rashida refused to be drawn into the feud. However, when a fan revived the issue in July, asking if Rashida had ever apologized, K. Michelle responded with a resolute “F her,” indicating their relationship remained strained.

Recently, Rashida issued a stern warning during an Instagram live, urging K. Michelle to cease her pursuit of an apology she’d never receive.
Hey everyone, thanks for joining my live. I just wanted to share that I’m heading off to visit my grandmother soon. Even though there may have been some misunderstandings, I truly value all of you. Let’s keep the positivity flowing.

Regarding recent events, I want to address the issue with honesty. While I’m not one to dwell on apologies, I do want to clarify some things. It seems there’s been some confusion about past conversations and apologies. I want to make it clear that I did have a discussion with the person involved and expressed my regret. It’s frustrating when accusations arise, especially when the truth has already been communicated.

Now, I’ve seen comments questioning the sincerity of my apology. I understand the skepticism, especially given the passage of time. Rest assured, I aim to be transparent and accountable for my actions.

Moving forward, let’s focus on positivity and understanding. I appreciate those who have supported me, and I’m committed to learning and growing from this experience. Thank you all for your ongoing support and understanding.”
“Now, I’m curious about your opinions. How do you all feel about Rashida delivering a stern warning to K. Michelle after years of denying her? Should K. Michelle brush it off, or should she demand a genuine public apology from Rashida for labeling her a liar? Share your thoughts in the comments below
