Sometimes, when we take certain drugs, our thoughts get all tangled up, making things pretty confusing. It’s obvious that some of your thinking is a bit mixed up. You’re charging us for water, for grapes, for apples! What’s next? Come here, let me— Forget it. By the way, I’ve got a kid with Raven—yeah, nobody knows that. Did you give me the smash? Yeah, you did! Orlando Brown seriously needs help. He went from being a popular child star with a bright future to someone making wild claims about Diddy and even saying he got Raven-Symoné pregnant. This whole situation is a mess, so let’s talk about it.

Orlando Brown is a child star from our generation, and we’ve all watched his life fall apart in front of us. He might be one of the most heartbreaking cases out there. Sure, we’ve seen others, like Amanda Bynes, who also had a tough time. But she eventually stepped out of the spotlight and went into a conservatorship. While her situation isn’t perfect, Orlando’s struggles have been on full display for everyone to see.

To give you some background, Orlando Brown was born in December 1987 in Los Angeles. He’s a talented entertainer, known for acting, rapping, and singing. You probably remember him as Eddie Thomas from That’s So Raven, or maybe as Cadet Kevin “Tiger” Dunn in Major Payne, 3J Winslow in Family Matters, or Max in Two of a Kind. As a kid, Orlando was always working. He even did voice acting, making a lot of money, but at the cost of his childhood, which he mostly spent on set.

In 2007, Orlando Brown decided to leave Disney behind to focus on a music career. This wasn’t a huge shock, as he’d already shown some of his musical talents while working with Disney, and it seemed like the next logical step for him. While a few of his songs did okay, they never really matched the level of success he had as a child star. Today, we’re going to look back at some of Orlando’s most difficult moments and see where he’s at now.

Unfortunately, Orlando has struggled a lot with drugs, and it seems like this might have been his way of coping with the pressures of being a child actor. While it’s not officially confirmed, if you look at his life and compare it to others who’ve been through similar situations, it kind of makes sense. Despite a promising start in the entertainment industry, people’s attention soon shifted to Orlando’s numerous legal issues.

In 2016, he was arrested on charges of domestic violence, obstruction of justice, and drug possession with intent to sell. The story goes that Orlando got into a heated argument with his ex-girlfriend in a parking lot, which turned physical. When the police arrived, they found he had meth on him—pretty rough stuff. After that, there was another incident involving his ex and her mother. Despite the charges, Orlando missed his court dates both times, which only made things worse. Given his public profile, the police had no trouble tracking him down.

The body cam footage from the police is tough to watch. You see them trying to arrest him, but it’s clear he’s not just a criminal—he’s also someone who’s been hurt by the system. Being a child actor is incredibly hard, and transitioning to adult roles is a whole different ballgame. If you’ve built a reputation with Disney or Nickelodeon, it’s not easy to get taken seriously in more adult roles. Not everyone can make that jump. The footage shows a lot of chaos: “Orlando, come out with your hands up!” It’s a stressful scene that ends with the police shouting commands to show his hands and get down. It’s heartbreaking to see someone who once had so much potential end up in such a tragic situation.
“What’s going on, sir?” “You’ve got a warrant for your arrest. Show me your hands.” “Yes, sir, show me your hands.” “I know I have a warrant, sir.” “What’s your name?” “What’s the problem?” “What’s your name?” “I’m done, sir.” “What’s your name?” “What is all this?” “State your name! State your name!”

You can tell he’s hesitant to say his name because he knows it’ll confirm who he is. This happens a lot. I was watching a show recently, something like Patrol Live, and you see this kind of thing all the time. Officers will demand, “State your name,” and the person will refuse, like, “I won’t tell you until you tell me yours, sir.” It’s a standoff. But eventually, the officers already know who they’re dealing with.

Orlando knew right then that he was caught, and it’s sad to see. No one likes seeing someone go through something like this, but it’s clear he didn’t have the support he needed—not at home, and not from the people hiring him.

Orlando was arrested and released, but then he missed his court date. Bounty hunters kept after him until they finally found him hiding in a closet. That had to be pretty traumatic. It seems like it would’ve been so much easier to just deal with the situation. Running only makes things worse. But, of course, that’s easier said than done.

Then, in June 2016, the authorities arrested Orlando again after spotting him leaving a hotel known for prostitution and drugs. They stopped his cab—oh no, not the cab—and found meth and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant and charged with possession.

It’s tough to watch. Addiction is such a hard thing to overcome. And it didn’t stop there; he was later accused of trying to burglarize a friend’s restaurant. And then there’s the tattoo of Raven-Symoné’s face on his neck—wait, what?

During this time, Orlando tried to get help twice but ended up leaving the rehab centers both times shortly after. Oh no, did Orlando seriously get a tattoo of your face on his neck? What do you think about that? Honestly, I’d just be thinking about the second season of That’s So Raven coming out on July 25th—Wait, are you serious? No, July 25th! And Raven’s Home. And Raven’s Home too! Wait, did you say That’s So Raven is coming out July 25th? Did I? Yes, you did. Sorry, that got me confused. It’s pretty clear Raven-Symoné is over it, and honestly, with a tattoo like that, I wouldn’t feel flattered either. I’d be more offended.

Almost as uncomfortable as his appearance on Dr. Phil, which was more disturbing than anything else. In 2018, he was on the show to face his worried family and friends, who were alarmed by his erratic behavior. He bizarrely claimed to be the son of Michael Jackson and said he had four kids, with the oldest being 16 to 18 years old, which would mean he was only 13 or 15 when they were born. Even more unsettling, he couldn’t even name two of these kids. These shocking statements led Dr. Phil to suggest that Orlando check into a specialized facility.

Orlando’s appearance on Dr. Phil was a real low point. He admitted he was struggling with drug and alcohol addiction, including crystal meth, and talked about how those demons had taken control of his life. So let’s take a look at this interview where Dr. Phil, who seems to prey on vulnerable people, puts this clearly struggling man on display for everyone to see.

When you use certain drugs, they can mix up your thoughts in confusing ways. Honestly, it seems like your thinking is a bit jumbled right now. I’m sober for a reason—I just got out of rehab and the ER. I’ve already spent too much time away from my kids, and I can’t afford to lose any more. I need to be free, especially after being locked up for no reason. I can’t spend another 90 days being monitored; that’s not something I need like others might. It feels like an insult to those who genuinely need that kind of help.

How old are your kids? I have a 2-year-old, a 5-year-old—wait, no, she’s 5 now—an 8-year-old, and an 11-year-old. And the 2-year-old’s name? Well, the 2-year-old is still on the way, so we don’t know the name yet. The 2-year-old is still in the belly? Yes, we don’t know the name because the baby hasn’t been born yet. And the 11-year-old? You said the 2-year-old is still in the belly? Yes, because I have a baby on the way. The 2-year-old is still in the belly? Not exactly—did you hear me say I have a lot of kids?

He seems to be nodding off. As a dad trying to reconnect with my kids and figure out who they are, you can’t blame me for not knowing everything right now. I’m not blaming you. How long has it been since you’ve seen your kids? Honestly, I see them everywhere, but I barely know them, and they barely know me. I came here today to offer some help because I think what you’re dealing with is a mental health issue that can be managed.

Orlando told Dr. Phil he doesn’t want to go back to a facility, but Dr. Phil’s only suggestion seemed to be sending him back. Then Orlando started posting bizarre rants and making outlandish statements in interviews, with people like Dr. Phil enabling this behavior, making things worse. I’m not sure if he was just saying these things for attention or if it was the mental illness, but it’s clear he’s struggling.

Why are people mad at me because I was with one handicapped girl, just one? People need to understand that I’m dealing with a lot, and my mental state is complicated.
Wait, what? Are you saying people are upset with him because he had a relationship with someone who’s disabled? And Stevie Wonder isn’t actually blind? You believed that all this time? I’m at a loss for words. Seriously, I can’t even process this right now. And on top of that, he’s supposedly obsessed with Raven-Symoné? He even has a tattoo of her on his neck! He claims they’ve been intimate and that they have a child together, despite Raven being openly lesbian and happily married. This is wild.

But let’s shift gears—what were the good times like on the show? Which show? That’s So Raven? Well, everything about it must’ve been fun. But really, what was an average day like on set? It seems like it was all about Raven for him. He can’t stop thinking about her. Is she even around? It sounds like she’s on his mind constantly—every time he cries, eats, breathes, walks, talks—she’s there. What’s going on with him? Is he happy, traumatized, or just obsessed? His identity seems completely tied to the show and to Raven. Honestly, we might need a therapist to unpack all of this!

And then there’s this claim about having a baby with Raven—he really believes that. No one else knows this, apparently. He wants me to keep quiet about it, but I can’t. Does anyone actually believe this? I mean, Raven is strong and outspoken—I just can’t see this being true. That’s my take, but I’m curious to hear what others think.

And about that supposed baby with Raven—she’s amazing, man. Nobody loves me like she does. Nobody knows me like she does. I mentioned it in the first interview. She gave me something, and I gave her something in return— Can you clarify what you mean? I mean, people have been talking about it, and most thought I was kidding— Oh man, this is so embarrassing! Raven, you might need to get a restraining order! This whole situation is just—wow.
So, the new show Raven’s Home is now airing on Friday nights at 8:00 PM, which is exciting. That’s what’s going on with that.

Now, I came across an article from December 2022 about Orlando Brown, who played Eddie on That’s So Raven. He was arrested for allegedly threatening a relative with a knife and a hammer. This all went down in Ohio. The relative, who claimed Orlando was “going crazy,” told the police that Orlando came at him in a threatening way with the weapons. He was terrified that Orlando was going to attack him. Apparently, this relative had been letting Orlando, who was 35 at the time, stay with him for about two weeks because Orlando was homeless and he didn’t want to see him end up in a shelter. But seriously, you can’t act like that when someone’s trying to help you out!

Then, on December 22nd, the police in Lima, Ohio, responded to this incident between Orlando and a guy named Matthew Sanders, who Orlando called his brother. And get this—just recently, in January 2024, Orlando got kicked out of a restaurant in LA after a wild outburst where he started shouting, “I am Satan and Lucifer’s son.” TMZ reported that he also accused an employee of being a child molester and even brought up the serial killer Richard Ramirez. Orlando was yelling things like, “Get behind me,” and “I am Jesus. Get the F out of here, Satan.” As he was leaving the restaurant, he kept shouting, “I am Satan and Lucifer’s son. F everybody!”
Imagine you’re at a nice restaurant in LA, just trying to enjoy a pleasant dinner, when suddenly, this guy starts going off, holding his phone up, yelling, and hurling insults at someone. You don’t even know the person he’s targeting, and honestly, neither does he. Then he starts saying, “I’m Satan, Lucifer’s son. F everybody!” It’s clear, at this point, that something’s off—maybe he’s struggling with mental illness or deep in addiction. I don’t know him personally, but based on that behavior, it doesn’t seem like he’s in a stable place.

He’s also found this bizarre way of grabbing attention by exposing stuff—like claiming he’s giving insights into Raven’s private life, which is just disturbing. He’s even tried to expose Diddy multiple times, but because of his apparent mental state, no one takes him seriously. He says people have sold their souls to Diddy. One thing he mentioned is that Diddy loves to party, but you’ve got to tell him no. And honestly, that’s pretty much a given—everyone knows you’ve got to tell him no because if you don’t, he’ll put you in a situation where you’ll have to say yes or no again. It’s like, dude, the rule is: you have to say no to Diddy. If there’s new booty in the building, you know he’s going to go after it. Don’t bring your girlfriend to a Diddy party.

And then there’s this weird part—he’s rambling about some kind of “mushy squash” or something. I mean, what? It’s like I want to react to what he’s saying, but at the same time, I’m trying to be mindful of his mental state because he’s clearly not all there. So, let’s just send good vibes his way—he really needs them. But yeah, no more of that “mushy squash” talk—whatever that was earlier, it was just gross. I’m honestly a little grossed out.

So, yeah, pretty grossed out. But I’d love to hear what you guys think in the comments below.
