Hey, everyone! Welcome. Guess what? Nicki Minaj just released the long-awaited remix of Doja Cat’s track “Say So,” and it’s causing quite a stir. Fans are buzzing with excitement over it. I’ve listened to both the original and the remix, and it’s interesting how Nicki changed up her verse at the last minute. It seems like she might have been influenced by Beyoncé’s transformation of “Savage” with Megan Thee Stallion. Perhaps Nicki felt the need to make the remix stand out more. Personally, I felt that Nicki’s original verse was a bit stronger, but hey, opinions vary, right?

Nicki also lent her vocals to this track. I particularly enjoyed her contribution because her voice complements the fun, upbeat vibe of this pop dance tune perfectly. Her singing really stood out as the highlight of this remix for me. However, there was a moment in the song that sparked a lot of discussion. Nicki’s lyrics went: “Why are you talking about whose body’s fake with all the fillers in your face? You’re just full of hate. They’re real, blank, and keeping your dude home. Now you’re looking silly. That’s where it’s silicone.” Many immediately speculated that Nicki was referencing Wendy Williams due to their ongoing feud, especially considering Wendy’s past comments body-shaming Nicki. Although Wendy’s remarks were unmistakably directed at Nicki, the speculation intensified after Nicki addressed Wendy on her Queen Radio show. Given Wendy’s use of fillers and her personal life drama, it seemed like a fitting interpretation. However, Nicki denied targeting Wendy, tweeting “#SaySoRemix ain’t about Wendy though.” This denial only fueled further curiosity about whom Nicki was addressing, as her lyrics were unequivocal and strategically placed towards the end of the song, ensuring listeners took notice.

Some individuals speculated that the lyrics might have been aimed at Cardi B. Given the well-known friction between Nicki and Cardi B, it seemed plausible. However, the lyrics specifically mentioned a “real behind” and the notion of keeping one’s partner at home. Since Cardi B has openly discussed her use of butt enhancements, it’s unlikely that Nicki’s lyrics were directed at her.

Another target of speculation was Beyoncé. This arose particularly after Beyoncé’s verse in the remix of Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” where she rapped, “Big B, and that B stands for bands. If you want to see some real behind, baby, here’s your chance.” Nicki’s response included the line, “That real behind and keeping yo dude home, you looking real silly, that’s where it’s silicone.” While some believe this was a direct response to Beyoncé, it seems improbable given their positive history of collaboration and mutual respect.

It’s doubtful that Nicki would risk antagonizing Beyoncé, considering her significant influence in the industry and their amicable relationship. However, Nicki has a penchant for stirring controversy, and her alteration of the verse following the release of the “Savage” remix could be interpreted as intentional provocation. Whether it was a calculated move for publicity or not remains uncertain, but Nicki is no stranger to utilizing controversy to her advantage. Regardless, it’s unlikely she would openly admit to targeting Beyoncé if that were indeed the case.

Now, let’s shift gears and delve into something intriguing I stumbled upon. There’s a blog called Gossip of the City that caught wind of screenshots featuring model Jasmine Sanders hinting at an engaged celebrity sliding into her DMs. She quipped, “You gonna regret hitting me up. Trust me, it’s quarantine. I got time to hit you with the facts. Like, how’s your girlfriend? Does your fiancée know you slidin’ in DMs? Chill, you got the wrong one. If we talked and you’ve moved on, move on. Stop checkin’ on me ’cause I’m just sittin’ here laughin’.” Naturally, this sparked curiosity about whom Jasmine Sanders was referring to. She dropped hints suggesting that the man in question, who was messaging her, is one of her exes and currently engaged. Speculations arose, with many pointing fingers at rapper Jeezy, as there were rumors of a past fling between Jasmine and him. While there are images circulating online of them dining together, it’s uncertain if they were in a relationship. However, people assumed it was Jeezy since he’s engaged to Jeannie Mai from “The Real.” It’s worth noting that Jasmine has been linked with various men in the industry, making it unclear who she’s referencing. Despite this, Jeezy’s name surfaced frequently due to his engagement status. Jasmine’s tweet stirred buzz on the blogs, but she opted to delete it without revealing the identity. Responding to inquiries, she cryptically stated, “If I wanted y’all to know, I would’ve tagged his name when I posted it. He saw it. Don’t worry. He hasn’t been hitting me since.” While Jasmine didn’t confirm Jeezy as the mystery man, her silence fueled speculation. If indeed Jeezy was the one reaching out, it reflects poorly on him. Checking up on an ex, especially in the wee hours, raises eyebrows, particularly for someone committed like Jeannie, who’s vocal about her stance on infidelity. However, it’s essential to acknowledge that Jasmine’s remarks could pertain to anyone, given her dating history. So, it’s premature to label Jeezy as unfaithful without concrete evidence.

The final topic I’d like to discuss is rapper Chingy’s recent admission of having been involved with comedian Tiffany Haddish. Several months back, Haddish appeared on Ellen DeGeneres’ show and claimed to have had a romantic encounter with Chingy. However, Chingy took to Instagram to deny these allegations. I remember making a video defending Chingy at the time, but Tiffany responded, accusing him of lying, and I never got around to updating my stance on the matter. Recently, Chingy confirmed on the “Mike and Donnie Show” on Fox Soul that he did indeed sleep with Tiffany Haddish.

About six months ago, Tiffany Haddish made the revelation on Ellen’s show, but I actually had forgotten about it until recently. I had to consult my brother, who seems to know everything, to confirm the incident. He recounted that he was present when it happened and verified the encounter. So, I accepted it for what it was.

Following the revelation and subsequent confirmation, have I spoken to Tiffany? Yes, I have. We’ve addressed the issue, exchanged apologies, and moved forward. It’s water under the bridge now. Tiffany has always been cool, and we used to enjoy her comedy shows together before she gained widespread recognition. She’s always been genuine.

Tiffany was telling the truth all along. She and Chingy did have a fling. However, personally, I wish Tiffany hadn’t disclosed this private matter. It’s not just about privacy; it also reflects poorly on her, especially since she mentioned Chingy was intoxicated at the time. If the roles were reversed, it would likely cause a major uproar. But regardless, the truth is out there now.
