Hey everyone, welcome! So, the buzz is that Kylie Jenner has finally hit the unfollow button on her former BFF, Jordan Woods, on social media. It’s got me intrigued why Kylie chose this moment to unfollow Jordan. But before I spill the tea on that, let’s rewind and get a quick recap of what led to their friendship hitting the rocks. We all know Kylie and Jordan were tight for years. But things took a nosedive a while back due to a scandal that rocked their bond. Jordan crossed the line by sharing a kiss with Tristan Thompson, Khloe Kardashian’s ex. Naturally, the Kardashian-Jenner squad wasn’t having it. Kylie found herself in a tight spot; torn between her loyalty to her sister Khloe and her friendship with Jordan. Eventually, she had to side with family and cut ties with Jordan. Despite the fallout, Kylie continued following Jordan on Instagram for a while. However, recently she decided to hit that unfollow button. Now, the grapevine suggests it’s because Jordan was spotted hanging out with NBA player James Harden, who happens to be Khloe’s ex. It seems like Kylie might have been miffed seeing Jordan cozying up to another one of her sister’s former flames. But here’s the plot twist: that’s not why Kylie unfollowed Jordan. Sure, it might look like that to the media, but there are deeper reasons at play. My take? Kylie probably felt the heat from her sister Khloe, who’s still sore about the whole Jordan debacle. Remember how Khloe was all worked up in the last season of “Keeping Up with the Kardashians”? That’s a clue right there.

She felt more aggrieved towards Jordan than she did towards her child’s father. Interestingly, Khloe and Tristan weren’t even a couple when Tristan kissed Jordan. Jordan acknowledged her mistake and apologized for it, yet Khloe remained resentful. She seemed less concerned about Tristan’s actions, given his history of infidelity. Furthermore, she and Tristan were not together when the scandal occurred. Khloe appeared more intent on targeting Jordan, believing she owed her loyalty, which is ironic given Khloe’s own track record. Khloe has disregarded loyalty in the past, pursuing relationships with friends’ partners and even becoming involved with Tristan while he was engaged to Jordan Craig. Additionally, she doesn’t seem bothered by her close relationship with her sister Courtney’s ex-partner.

Khloe’s loyalty is seriously in question, and anyone sympathizing with her is falling into her trap. Save your sympathy for True, their child, who never signed up for such chaos. But let’s refocus on Jordan and Kylie. I doubt Kylie unfollowed Jordan because of James Harden; their connection predates the Tristan Thompson scandal, and Khloe likely knew about it and accepted it. Kylie’s move is strategic; she’s sending a clear message about their friendship. Timing-wise, Kylie’s unfollowing was calculated, knowing the media would twist the narrative, painting Jordan negatively once more. Yet, the reality is far simpler. TMZ reports that Jordan and James coincidentally met up with mutual friends at a bar. They’ve been friends long before the public knew, dispelling the notion that Jordan seeks out Khloe’s exes.

Khloe has been in relationships with numerous men, making it highly likely for Jordan to cross paths with at least one of them. But let’s refocus. Kylie unfollowed Jordan probably because she anticipates media speculation. However, I think there’s more to it; Kylie might just not want to witness Jordan thriving. It’s evident from Kylie also unfollowing Jordan’s mother, Elizabeth Woods. Kylie seems a bit irked by Jordan’s success, probably expecting her to beg forgiveness and return to being under Kylie’s thumb. But Jordan’s not playing into that narrative; she’s out there living her best life. Her career is flourishing, especially with her second clothing collection with boohoo receiving rave reviews for its inclusivity in sizes. Additionally, her athletic wear line, Second Nature, is doing exceptionally well. She’s securing various brand deals and even making appearances in music videos, like Gunna’s and upcoming in Rick Ross’s.

Furthermore, she’s delving into acting, having landed her debut role on “Grown-ish” and currently filming a movie. Thus, Jordan Woods is actively pursuing her career, with her mother adeptly managing her affairs to ensure her success. Despite her flourishing life alongside Al and Kylie, there’s a lingering sense of jealousy among Kylie and her sisters. Despite Kylie’s undeniable success with her billion-dollar business, she appears discontent with Jordan’s absence. This separation, however, seems necessary for personal growth. Jordan had become a crutch for Kylie, an all-encompassing presence in her life. Yet, there comes a point where one must evolve independently. People enter our lives for specific reasons and durations, and I believe this parting serves a purpose for both of us. Khloe’s attempts to throw shade notwithstanding, it’s evident from the dynamics that Kylie heavily relied on Jordan. Kylie’s efforts to replace her with another friend seem more like a cry for attention rather than genuine companionship. While she may wish to lean on Travis, his own career and rumored distractions hinder such dependence. Ultimately, no one can fill the void left by Jordan’s unique friendship.

To be honest, Jordan meant the world to Kylie. She once remarked that she didn’t need anyone else if she had Jordan. Their bond was so strong that Kylie felt closer to Jordan than even her own sister. She went as far as having Jordan live with her because she couldn’t stand the idea of being alone. Kylie craved her best friend’s constant presence. However, amidst this, Jordan was deeply unhappy because she lacked a life of her own. She felt suffocated under Kylie’s shadow, and it seemed like Kylie preferred it that way. Their relationship was marked by emotional dependence, with Kylie seemingly reluctant to let Jordan pursue her own interests. It’s uncomfortable to admit, but it almost felt like Kylie wanted Jordan around to fulfill a certain role, akin to a house servant. Sadly, this isn’t uncommon within the Kardashian circle. They’ve been criticized for befriending black women and keeping them as sidekicks, exploiting their culture and connections without truly empowering them. Take Malika for example. She used to pursue acting alongside her sister Khadijah, but now she’s largely known as Khloe Kardashian’s right hand for the past decade, sidelining her own potential and career aspirations.

You know, I strongly believe that if Jordan had maintained her friendship with Kylie, she would have found herself stuck in Kylie’s shadow indefinitely. And that’s not what Jordan is about. She’s not content being someone’s sidekick; she craves independence and a chance to shine on her own terms. Before her close bond with Kylie, Jordan had her own circle of friends, her own vibrant personality, and a distinct identity. People might perceive her as reserved, but in reality, she’s incredibly outgoing and hilarious. Once she warms up to you, she’s an absolute riot. However, there’s still an air of mystery surrounding Jordan. She’s the one you’d want for covert adventures because you never quite know what she’s up to when she’s not around. In contrast to her subdued demeanor with Kylie, Jordan exudes a vibrant and fun-loving spirit when she’s free to be herself. That’s why I’m thrilled to see her break away from the Kardashian clan and carve her own path to success. What are your thoughts on this? Feel free to share in the comments below.
