Kim Kardashian is in the spotlight again, and it seems like she’s cranking up the press coverage—maybe to divert attention or just to stay relevant. Recently, she’s been seeing a therapist, which feels like it’s about time, especially given her past with Kanye West. What’s grabbing headlines now is that her therapist has been quite vocal about Kim’s family, suggesting they all could use therapy, particularly Khloe.

As someone who values therapy and is open about it, I find it surprising that a therapist would publicly critique a client’s family or suggest they need therapy. It feels like an overstep, even if it might be typical in Hollywood. Kim mentioned on her show that her therapist started watching their reality show and felt the whole family could benefit from therapy.

This raises a few eyebrows—why is her therapist making such public comments about her family? And Kim, of all people, should know how scripted and edited reality TV can be. The show often portrays events long after they happen, which might make the therapist’s observations a bit off the mark.

Khloe’s best friend, Malika, seems to agree with Kim that Khloe could use some therapy. Given Khloe’s difficult experiences, like dealing with Lamar Odom’s cheating and Tristan Thompson’s repeated infidelities, therapy might have been a good idea a while ago. Meanwhile, Kim is working through her trauma from the 2016 Paris robbery, a terrifying ordeal that understandably left her shaken. Her therapist reportedly told her, “You think calmness is your superpower? I think you are so desensitized from the trauma that you’re just frozen.”

Kim Kardashian’s recent comments about feeling like she’s turned into a “robot” after her 2016 robbery are interesting. It’s a big shift from how she used to be, and it seems like the trauma really changed her. Khloe, being her usual straightforward self, points out that Kim was never exactly calm before the robbery. She used to be pretty high-strung and prone to tantrums. Now, Kim’s reflecting on how she’s become more composed, which Khloe thinks is a direct result of how she handled the robbery.

What’s intriguing is that Kim previously downplayed the need for therapy, saying her friends were enough for her. But now, she’s talking about it on her show, which feels like a bit of a flip-flop. It’s not that therapy is wrong or unnecessary—far from it—but it does make you wonder about the shift in her narrative.

It’s clear that going through something as traumatic as a robbery can shake you up, and therapy can be really helpful. Still, Kim’s change in stance on therapy might seem a bit inconsistent, especially given her past comments. It’s a reminder that while friends are invaluable, professional support has its own place in dealing with personal challenges.
On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian celebrated her 43rd birthday with her closest friends, whom she calls her “lifers.” Amid the birthday festivities, Kim shared a painful mishap—she sliced off the tips of her index and middle fingers and said it was more painful than childbirth.

Kim opened up about the accident, describing the moment she saw her injury. “I looked at my hand and just fell to the ground. I grabbed the table and got on my knees because all I saw was blood and a bit of bone sticking out.” She said she didn’t scream but just froze in shock.

The incident happened when she was closing a sliding door in her bathroom, and her son Saint ran in with chips. “It went boom, and I felt—I literally looked at my hand and I fell to the ground,” she recalled. The pain was so intense that it felt worse than childbirth, unless you’ve had a C-section.

The bandages are definitely a moment. I remember seeing her with them and wondering what happened. They clearly saved the big reveal for the show. Once the injury was taken care of, she made light of it, which was the best thing to do. I’m pretty accident-prone myself—I’ve had stitches in so many places, it’s almost a joke. I’m like a bull in a china shop, so seeing injuries makes me queasy. I still think about the time I stubbed my toe a few months ago. I was on the ground, screaming, while my boyfriend was on the phone. I couldn’t even move; it was that bad.

Lately, I’ve been into this look. It’s stylish and all, but let’s be real—I hurt myself. The bandages aren’t just for show; they help smooth out the skin and work well with blush and highlighter. I sacrificed my fingers for beauty! Kim, on the other hand, was really worried when the doctor said her nail might not grow back. Nails are such a big part of the Kardashians’ image. Can you imagine if she had two nails missing? To help her hand heal, she’s already done four hours of hyperbaric oxygen therapy, which speeds up healing by using oxygen at higher pressures.

There’s always something new in the headlines about Kim. Today, for example, she revealed her son has a rare skin condition. She said it’s something that runs in the family—passed down from her mom to her, and now to her son, who has vitiligo. Vitiligo, which Michael Jackson and Winnie Harlow have had, causes changes in skin pigment and can result in patchy coloring. Kim admitted she didn’t know much about it at first, but learning about it and sharing that knowledge has been a blessing for her.
I don’t have much else to add about this topic. It seems like the condition isn’t something that can be reversed or stopped. Personally, I find it really interesting, especially when people have unique patterns, like Winnie Harlow’s symmetrical one. But I was really caught off guard seeing Gypsy on the Kardashians, given the mixed feelings people have about her.

There’s this comment on TikTok that we’re about to watch, and it says: “Gypsy Rose expects to be treated like a child, which makes sense since her mom overly babied her. She wanted to meet Taylor Swift and ended up with Kim Kardashian. She knows what she’s doing. A year later, she hasn’t done anything for the cause. She’s a scammer.”

What really gets to me is that when I entered prison, I asked for therapy and was told I didn’t qualify for one-on-one sessions. You’d think they’d want to give you all the tools you need to be mentally stable and ready to reintegrate into society. Meeting Kim Kardashian might be a big win for Gypsy, but the comments are brutal. One says, “Both are trash,” another says, “Everyone in America finds this disgusting.” There’s also “Unbelievable,” and “Y’all keep making the wrong people famous.” Some even say, “Kim is the empathy in the room with us now,” and “Kim’s an ambulance chaser.”

I’m still reeling from Khloe calling Kim a lunatic—that was quite a moment. I’d love to know what you think in the comments below. I hope you enjoy this video. I edited it myself, and while it might not be perfect, I did it with love for you guys. Your friend Slan is always here on YouTube, keeping you company.
Hey everyone! I hope you enjoyed this update. Anything else I want to add? I think that’s about it for now. If any of you are going to DragCon, I might see you there! I also went to the Cobra Kai movie premiere last night—it was so cool, and the setup was amazing. Just a couple of weeks ago, I was at the Twister premiere, which was awesome too, but in a completely different way. Cobra Kai had food trucks and a red carpet, and I even got to meet some great people. I’d rate Cobra Kai a solid 10 out of 10.

I’ve been keeping myself busy with press and podcasts. If you want to see me on any shows, shoot me an email at slwwellknown@gmail.com. I’m out here doing my thing!

I also have a big video coming up about a reality star who’s threatened to sue me—someone we’ve discussed on my channel before. It’s been a major project with lots of legal work behind it. I’m hoping it’ll shine a light on how some people in power try to misuse legal threats to silence others. Even if it’s not a real threat, it’s important to know your rights and stand up against these tactics.

If you’re interested in this video, let me know in the comments. I’m thinking of releasing it on Friday, Saturday, or maybe Monday. I’m open to your suggestions. I’ve had a few cease-and-desist letters this year, but this one was particularly fake and offensive. It’s actually illegal what this person did.
