The first blind item is about Kim Kardashian and, of course, it’s about her using clever tactics to navigate the system. It says: “This reality star, who isn’t exactly known for her book smarts, is spending three times more on expenses than her brand makes in revenue—let alone profit. It seems like it’s all part of some tax deduction strategy. We’ve talked before about Kris Jenner’s church in the valley, which looks pretty random and nothing like a typical church. Allegedly, it’s a way for them to funnel money and avoid taxes. Rich people often find creative ways around the system. Take Elon Musk, for example; despite his massive wealth, he doesn’t have much cash on hand—it’s all in stock or something like that. I’m not an expert in this world, but it’s clear that the ultra-wealthy know how to game the system. One person mentioned: ‘Money laundering. A lot of money goes into investments, but very little comes out. Those investments are used to buy goods and services at inflated prices.’ Another added: ‘You might get away with it for a while, but eventually, the IRS will want to know why you’re showing no profit. The IRS doesn’t mess around.’

While the Kardashians have started numerous brands, not all of them take off. Think of LY Dummies or Kylie Jenner’s Kai, which has struggled to gain momentum. But Skims is a different story. The brand recently hit a huge $4 billion valuation with $750 million in sales last year. They’ve built strong brand equity, working with celebrities like Sabrina Carpenter and Lana Del Rey for their shoots and getting involved with major sports partnerships like the Olympics, NBA, and WNBA. They’re even considering opening physical stores in New York and LA. Now, early investors might be pushing for an exit. What’s interesting is that Kim still gets a 5% royalty from sales as long as Skims stays private. Plus, she owns 30% of the business, having invested when it was valued at just $25 million.
In my videos, we often talk about justice and fairness, sharing stories of people who’ve faced tough situations or who need support after going through something traumatic. Life can be really hard, and when people have been in serious accidents, they often feel lost about what to do next. That’s where Morgan & Morgan comes in. They’re the largest injury law firm in the U.S., and they make finding reliable legal help easy. With over 3,000 attorneys across all 50 states, they’ve got the skills and resources to handle any case, big or small. They’re committed to fighting for those who deserve compensation. I know it’s hard to trust people, especially when it comes to legal stuff, but Morgan & Morgan has earned that trust. For example, in 2023, they got a $19 million settlement for the family of Amos, who tragically lost his life in a commercial vehicle accident. If you or someone you know needs help after an accident, don’t keep it to yourself. Morgan & Morgan is ready to assist.

Now, let’s switch gears and talk about Kim Kardashian. She’s really embracing that go-getter attitude, almost like she’s channeling some Donald Trump energy. Can you imagine if BBLs were part of government assistance? According to an article I read, Kim just loves a good challenge. She started Skims, teamed up with Ryan Murphy for acting, and now she’s apparently thinking about ruling a country. On the season 5 finale of The Kardashians, Kim reflected on her year and mentioned her big dreams, including running a country. It’s wild to think about. She’s clearly got big plans for the future, which is a great reminder of why voting is so important.

Finally, I’m excited to discuss a blind item involving Britney Spears and Hy. Hy hinted at creating a Britney Spears-inspired single, and Britney seemed to approve by following her on Instagram. But Britney later posted a lengthy message expressing her frustration. The blind item suggests Britney, who still has a lot of her life managed by her family and team, didn’t realize permission had been given for her song to be used. Hy recently remade Britney’s song “Lucky,” but Britney was blindsided by this. There are even concerns that AI might soon be used to duplicate her voice for new recordings without her knowledge. Britney expressed her distress, saying she felt harassed, violated, and bullied. She took down her Instagram account but plans to bring it back to show she cares. She’s consulting with her lawyers to figure out what to do next, describing the situation as illegal and cruel.
Britney definitely has a right to her feelings, but I don’t think the music video was aimed at mocking her. It seems like Hy was sharing her own experiences with the whole Britney Spears pop culture image, which Britney finds off-putting. After a heated post on Twitter, Britney quickly took it down, claiming it wasn’t her doing. She later tweeted: “Fake news. That wasn’t me on my phone. I love Hy, and that’s why I deleted it.”

It’s kind of wild to think a record label might have stepped in, removed Britney’s Instagram post, and put out a positive tweet to cover for Hy. If Hy is working on a comeback with her “Lucky” single, the label would be keen on protecting their investment and promoting their artist. So, this kind of damage control might make sense.

Hy responded on X (formerly Twitter), saying, “And I love Britney,” which seemed to smooth things over. She added, “I always have and always will love you. You were the first person who made me realize what it means to feel inspired, and you continue to inspire me every day.”

It’s still unclear what exactly in the video bothered Britney. Some fans think she might not have known about Hy’s health struggles or how the video portrayed her recovery. One fan pointed out, “Did she even watch the video? It’s about how Hy and the little girl are not so different despite being a star.” Others wondered if Britney thought a line about shaving her head was a personal jab. It seems like this could be a big misunderstanding, given that the video is about Hy’s own battle with leukemia.

Hy’s admiration for Britney is pretty well-known, so I don’t think there was any ill intent here. It’s more likely a case of the record labels trying to manage the situation.

Now, about Ice Spice. There’s been some drama about her not paying small business owners properly. Small businesses deserve fair payment for their work, and it’s frustrating when they get shortchanged. Ice Spice reportedly bought over 20 custom-made wigs, which are expensive—custom ones can cost around $1,000 each.

The Neighborhood Talk shared a story from a wig maker who was left unpaid after Ice Spice canceled an order last minute. The business owner had worked with her for years and was initially promised payment, only to be told later that it wasn’t happening. This is just bad business, especially since hair is such a big part of Ice Spice’s image.

So, both Britney and Ice Spice have had their fair share of drama, but it seems like there’s been a lot of miscommunication and mishandling of things. Hopefully, these issues get sorted out fairly.
I’m not entirely sure what that claim is about. Maybe she was trying to copy some of Nikki’s style, especially since Nikki signed Ice Spice, so they seem to be on good terms. Ice Spice even posted texts where she asked for wigs that looked like Nicki Minaj’s. Some fans have noticed that Ice Spice has been trying to look more like Nicki lately and even raps similarly in her single “Fat Butt Mr. Beast.”

As for Mr. Beast, he’s in serious trouble. If he’d hired a professional reality show producer, he probably wouldn’t be facing millions of dollars in lawsuits right now. The issue is that Mr. Beast is working on a reality show called “Beast Games,” but didn’t bring in the right experts. Reports say that contestants are getting too rough with each other, hospitals are overwhelmed with injuries, and there’s been a shortage of food and water. The team is even paying contestants to keep quiet about these problems. With $5 million at stake, it’s surprising Mr. Beast didn’t anticipate things getting out of control.

It’s pretty scary to think about being in a competition where everyone is fighting aggressively for a big prize. I’d definitely be worried if a huge guy was charging at me for that money. An article says the controversy around “Beast Games” is due to its extreme and realistic approach. There are complaints about poor conditions on set, a lack of essentials, and safety issues. The show has 1,000 contestants competing for $5 million, but the deal with Amazon is reportedly worth $100 million, so the prize is just a small part of the budget. The rest of the money will likely go towards dealing with lawsuits and medical bills.

Prime Video and MH have teamed up for a new streaming show with a $100 million deal. We’re working with Prime on this, and it’s my first time diving into a streaming show like this. I need to be careful about what I share since it’s new for me. Unlike my usual openness with YouTube, I’m figuring out how much I can say about the negotiations. But what I can tell you is that Amazon is giving us full creative control, which is amazing. Other platforms didn’t offer this level of freedom, so we’re aiming to make the most-watched streaming show ever.

On another note, there’s been some controversy surrounding Mr. Beast’s show. His team has said the allegations against them are “inaccurate.” The show started with 2,000 contestants but has now been trimmed down to 1,000. Managing that many people must be chaotic, and it’s hard to imagine how they’re handling audio with so many participants. Vital Vegas reported that a local hospital treated contestants for injuries sustained during filming. Rosanna Pansino also shared on TikTok that she received messages from crew and contestants about rough conditions on set. The stories I’m hearing are really troubling and not something I’ve seen before.

I want to share a statement from another contestant who had similar experiences. They mentioned that communication on set was poor, making it hard to get important information like when Gatorade was available, how to access medical help, or when snacks were being handed out. Underwear was distributed alphabetically, so some people didn’t get theirs until the second day, even though they should have been handed out on the first day. Some contestants ended up using their underwear bags as pillows on the stadium floor. After a long competition period without food, this contestant felt lightheaded and was told to “push through” instead of being given something to eat. On the first day, after wearing contacts for 12 hours, they asked to go to medical to take them out but were turned down.
The allegations against Mr. Beast are pretty serious. I caught some of the “Squid Game” episodes he hosted—though I might have also watched the Netflix version. They’re trying to market it similarly, but it seems like Mr. Beast’s grand approach might be too much for him to handle. It almost felt like he was treating participants like livestock. I saw two people have seizures, and it took a while for medical help to arrive—maybe because they didn’t have quick access to medication. Medics should have been on-site at all times. We were all working long hours, up to 20 a day, and were seriously sleep and food deprived. Meals were irregular; our first meal was around 6:00 or 7:00 p.m. and it only included oatmeal, vegetables, and fruit—no protein. We didn’t eat again until early morning. People were also getting pushed around during challenges with no repercussions. Sometimes contestants were given chocolates, which we ended up hoarding because we didn’t know when we’d get fed again. One person even got denied Benadryl for an allergic reaction.

On the topic of Elon Musk and Grimes, it seems Grimes is in a tough spot. She can’t directly challenge Elon because it could hurt her finances, so she has to rely on others. People are wondering if Grimes didn’t see how absent Elon was from his other kids’ lives. Grimes’s mom even tweeted about Elon not sticking to their custody agreement and not letting the kids visit. Grimes is clearly struggling, dealing with a very powerful and unpredictable ex who’s not likely to be involved in all his children’s lives. It seems like Elon might just be having kids to build a new generation that resembles him.

When you mentioned you have 12 kids, I was curious about what you find delightful about having so many.

You said you find them delightful because they’re often loved deeply and bring a lot of joy. Despite the negative stereotypes, kids generally want a strong relationship with their parents. It’s part of our biological makeup to love and nurture our children, which is essential for our species’ survival.

In another story, Grimes’s mom has accused Elon of not letting their three kids visit their great-grandmother in Canada, who’s in end-of-life care. She was upset that a planned visit was canceled and pointed out that, since Elon is wealthy, he could easily arrange private travel for them. It’s really sad that their great-grandmother, who was eager to meet her youngest grandchild for the first time, missed out on seeing them.
She writes, “I’m really upset to hear that the children can’t come because you, Elon, are holding them and their passports back from Claire. It was even more troubling to see you and X on TV at the Paris Olympics yesterday, right after your DC trip. Where are the other children, and who are they with? They were supposed to be in Canada. As a grandmother, I’m begging you to keep your promise, return the kids, and give Claire the documents she needs so they can visit their great-grandmother before it’s too late. Some moments in life are irreplaceable. We don’t get second chances. Family is everything. Please, Elon, this is causing my mother a lot of pain and it’s worrying for the kids. We’re running out of time.”

Now, moving on to something that’s really upsetting: Tiffany Haddish. I wasn’t sure if I should even bring this up, but it’s important. Tiffany’s recent behavior has been disturbing, especially with her interest in much younger individuals. We’ve talked about her before, and it always ends with our videos getting age-restricted because of her controversial preferences. One comment says, “Gross,” and I agree. Another says she hopes this will “haunt her.” There’s also criticism about her shock at finding grocery stores in Africa, which is frankly ignorant. Someone else pointed out how sad it is that a 44-year-old woman of means would seek out relationships with 16-year-olds. Remember, Tiffany Haddish has also been involved in some pretty questionable comedy skits. It’s really frustrating to see this kind of behavior.

We’ve covered these clips before, and I really don’t want to dive into them again. Just a reminder to follow Uncle Pete’s instructions and be good. If you need anything, just call me.

And as for Tiffany’s surprise about grocery stores in Africa—it’s baffling. I haven’t been to Africa, but I know there are cities and modern amenities there. The notion that Africa is all undeveloped is just wrong. There are thriving urban centers with everything you’d expect.

Tiffany Haddish has found herself in hot water after sharing a video from a grocery store in Zimbabwe. In her clip, she expressed surprise at how modern and large the supermarket was, even noting that it didn’t “smell bad.” Her comments were interpreted by many as implying that she didn’t expect such a store to exist in Africa, which led to criticism that she was reinforcing outdated stereotypes.

Some viewers called her reaction insensitive, questioning whether she was unaware of the modern infrastructure in many African countries. In response, Tiffany took to Twitter to clarify that her astonishment was aimed at challenging the negative and misleading portrayals of Africa that Americans often see. She mentioned that Americans are frequently shown images of poverty and lack of resources, which don’t reflect the full picture of African life.

While Tiffany’s intention was to address these misconceptions, her remarks have sparked a debate about whether they reflect a deeper misunderstanding of Africa. Her comments highlight ongoing issues with how the continent is represented in media.

On a lighter note, there’s a new series launching on the channel on August 11th. This upcoming series will bring a fresh format and will be available every Sunday. If you’re curious about what’s coming, keep an eye out and feel free to share your guesses in the comments. Thanks for watching, and don’t forget to mark your calendars for the new series!
