Hey everyone, welcome! Today, I’m diving into some exciting topics. First up, the buzz around a potential collaboration between Megan Thee Stallion and Beyoncé is making waves. Reports suggest Beyoncé might jump on the remix of Megan’s hit track “Savage,” aiming to propel it even higher on the charts. Now, let’s be clear, this is all speculation. But if it pans out, it could be a game-changer for Megan’s career.
It’s worth noting that this rumor isn’t confirmed, so let’s not get ahead of ourselves. However, the idea of these two powerhouse artists teaming up is tantalizing. Considering Megan’s ties to Roc Nation and the Carters’ admiration for her work, the collaboration seems plausible. Plus, both hail from Houston, adding extra hometown pride to the mix.
Beyoncé’s selective nature when it comes to collaborations adds weight to the possibility. If it happens, it could signify a significant moment not just for Megan, but for the industry as a whole. As a fan, I’m eagerly awaiting any updates on this front.
Now, onto our next topic: the latest developments involving Love & Hip Hop Atlanta stars Rasheeda and Kirk Frost.
So, there’s this viral tweet alleging that Kirk Frost, Rasheeda’s husband, adopted her when she was 15, engaging in relations with her as a legal parent, and marrying her at 17 when he was 31. Tasha K first spilled this tea, then it blew up online after a Twitter user mentioned it. Rasheeda and Kirk had to address it due to mounting scrutiny, with people giving Kirk the side-eye. Rasheeda dismissed it on Twitter, denying adoption or knowing Kirk at 15 or considering marriage at 17, urging focus on more pertinent matters. Kirk and Rasheeda also uploaded a video refuting the rumors, with Kirk emphasizing he’s not into marrying minors. Despite their rebuttals, an old clip surfaced where Rasheeda’s friend claimed Kirk met her in high school, sparking suspicion since it was believed Kirk was only 14 years older than Rasheeda.

It turns out, that’s not entirely accurate. Kirk Frost, now 51, and Rasheeda, purportedly 37, aren’t exactly reflecting Rasheeda’s true age. That’s more of her industry age. Rasheeda’s been entrenched in rap for well over two decades, where concealing one’s true age is a known tactic due to the prevalent ageism in entertainment. Many artists feel compelled to fib about their age to evade prejudiced treatment. Take Kash Doll, for instance. Despite her undeniable talent, her age seems to overshadow her skill. This underscores the harsh reality of ageism. Rasheeda, savvy to this reality, never explicitly disclosed her age but allowed the assumption of her youthfulness to persist. And who can blame her? She and Kirk indeed maintain a youthful appearance. However, according to a report from Gossip of the City, Rasheeda is actually 43, with her birthday looming in May. Her high school graduation year, 1994, further confirms this. Nonetheless, allegations about Kirk’s involvement with Rasheeda when she was underage have swirled, though the narrative of him adopting and marrying her at 17 is unfounded. They tied the knot when she was 23. Moving on, the rapper O.T. Genasis faced backlash for his dispute with Keyshia Cole. Their feud stemmed from his unauthorized remake of her song “Love,” titled “Never Knew.” Initially intended to be light-hearted, Keyshia found it offensive, feeling he trivialized a deeply personal piece. She rightfully demanded both recognition and compensation. Despite initially finding it humorous, O.T. Genasis’ relentless trolling on social media, coupled with disrespectful remarks during an Instagram Live session, escalated the conflict, drawing widespread attention, thanks to outlets like Gossip of the City.

O.T. Genasis has really disappointed me. I used to think he was pretty cool, but now he’s gone too far, showing his true colors. I get that he might be upset with Keyshia’s behavior, but disrespecting her like this isn’t necessary. Keyshia fired back on Twitter, calling him names and pointing out she’s never even met him. Even her sister Neffe jumped in to defend her, calling out O.T. Genasis for his disrespectful behavior towards women. It’s sad to see this kind of drama unfold publicly.
Initially, O.T. Genasis offered a weak apology to Keyshia Cole, but things escalated when Neffe got involved. He started mocking Keyshia and Nikki’s mother, which was totally uncalled for. Their feud spilled onto social media, causing even more chaos. I won’t even get into the messy details of their exchanges because it’s just too much drama.
Things really hit a low point when O.T. Genasis started making fun of Keyshia and Neffe’s mother, Frankie. That’s when people really started calling him out. He eventually took down his posts and tried to explain himself, but the damage was already done. It’s a shame to see things escalate to this level over what seems like petty disagreements.

Things were chill until a cease-and-desist letter came out of nowhere. I mean, nada. I’m telling my label, “Did a bunch of stuff, not even seeing a dime.” It was just vibes, you know, rolling with it ’cause, hey, you’re on the rise, you roll with it. All cool, right? Boom. Then she blows up. Whoa. So, I’m like, “You’re messing with me? Fine, I’ll show you what’s what.” Yeah, I was petty, but also kinda enjoying it, you know? Then it escalates. She talks about me again, and then, bam, her friend jumps in. So, I’m in, heard her family’s got some real issues. I don’t usually go after someone’s family like that, but she started with my kid. All kinds of stuff. Only reason I kept at it was ’cause she’s a woman. Not gonna stoop that low. O.T. Genasis claimed Neffe went after his son. Now, in one of Neffe’s posts, she did say, “Still messing with me and not your baby.” Like Beyoncé didn’t teach you better. Apparently, that ticked him off, so he went after her. But honestly, if O.T. Genasis hadn’t come at Keyshia in the first place, none of this would’ve gone down. I find it curious that Keyshia Cole’s man, Nikko, didn’t speak up earlier, but he did share a clip of Nipsey Hussle talking about avoiding clown behavior. So, that was his indirect jab at O.T. Genasis. Also, Keyshia Cole and Ari Lennox went live on Instagram to discuss the whole O.T. Genasis drama. Honestly, I’m not even gonna touch that topic. It just irks me ’cause, you know, when everyone’s dealing with so much in the black community, getting killed left and right, and then you drop a track about love and killing and bang, bang? Seriously? And Keyshia’s mad ’cause I called out what you did, like I’m disrespecting the integrity of my music? Like some guy just bullying and bullying and bullying through life. It just proves this person, this dark force from the get-go, never had your best interests at heart.
The way he’s behaving now, it just reveals his true nature – despicable and utterly lacking in empathy. He showed no regard whatsoever for your legacy, your body of work, and everything you’ve contributed to the world. It’s apparent why it felt like I was conversing with MC. She’s such a kind soul. It’s as if I was left completely vulnerable. It wasn’t just about public perception. Sure, you can brush off criticism and move on. But it was more about feeling invalidated whenever I tried to assert myself or express discomfort. It felt like a dismissal, as if because of my background, I couldn’t possibly have valid opinions. Like, “Oh, you come from the streets, so you don’t understand true artistry. Your upbringing disqualifies your right to critique.” That’s not the case at all. I stand by every word you’ve said. People can be harsh and disrespectful. But sometimes, standing up for what’s right can feel lonely. Yet, many here understand and respect your contributions. I was genuinely surprised and relieved to see others standing up for you. He crossed a line, a boundary that shouldn’t have been breached. It was disrespectful, distasteful, and downright unacceptable. He should have gracefully acknowledged your stance and moved on. Did he seriously believe that one song defined his entire existence? It’s laughable. I even tried to reach out through mutual contacts, hoping for some clarity, but it seems futile. A simple acknowledgment of mismatched intentions would have sufficed. Instead, it escalated needlessly. Anyway, I’d love to hear your thoughts on the matter. Feel free to like, comment, and subscribe. Share this video if it resonates with you. Thanks for tuning in, and until next time, take care!
