I’m excited to chat about Chloë Bailey’s new album, but first, there’s some troubling news about Kanye West that we need to discuss.
Have you ever been so inundated with spam calls that you’ve stopped answering your phone when a strange number comes up? It turns out one reason for this could be the fact that big companies often don’t do a great job of keeping our data safe. Just recently, AT&T revealed a huge data breach where nearly all their customers’ call and text records were exposed. And it’s not even been a few months since they admitted that over 70 million of their users’ Social Security numbers ended up on the dark web. The stolen data includes records of every call and text made by AT&T customers, so even if you weren’t an AT&T user, your number could still be at risk if someone who was called or texted you.
So, what can we do to protect ourselves? I use Aura for peace of mind. Aura lets me know if my sensitive info gets compromised in a breach and sends fraud alerts if anyone tries to use this data to access my credit or bank accounts. Plus, Aura offers transaction monitoring, a VPN, antivirus, a password manager, parental controls, and identity theft insurance—all in one package and at a reasonable price. Their AI-powered call assistant is also a lifesaver, screening unknown calls and filtering out spam and scams, so only legitimate calls get through to me. If you want to keep your data safe too, check out aura.com/impressive or click the link in the description to try out your first two weeks for free. Now, let’s dive back into the video.
Chloë just released her second album, Trouble in Paradise, and I have to say, I’m really into it. It’s one of those albums you can play straight through without skipping a track. It feels like a natural follow-up to her first album, In Pieces. Back then, she was clearly heartbroken, and the music reflected that—it was a bit scattered, though I did appreciate how she experimented with different sounds. But with Trouble in Paradise, there’s a noticeable shift. It’s much more cohesive, with a clear theme running through the whole thing. It’s like she’s moved on to the post-heartbreak phase—still dealing with the aftermath, but also starting to heal. There’s less dwelling on the pain, and she comes across as more free, more light-hearted, and definitely more in touch with her sexuality. You can hear all of this in the music, but there’s still that subtle hint of sadness from her past relationship. It’s like she’s still working through it, and I really connect with the overall vibe of the album.

Some singles that really stood out to me were “Boy by” and “FYS.” I also really enjoyed “Temporarily Single”—that one’s a favorite of mine. “Favorite” with Anderson .Paak is another fun track, and “Nice Girls Finish Last” was cool too. But the one that I’ve been obsessed with is “Want Me” featuring Hal Bailey. I’ve had that song on repeat! The lyrics and the concept—wanting someone who doesn’t want you while ignoring the person who actually does—it’s just so real. Chloë really nailed it with that one. Honestly, I can’t wait for her to drop her next album. I’m already impatient! And can we just talk about how amazing Chloë and Hal are together? They’re just perfect—such a great duo.
Another track that caught my attention was “Same Lingerie.” It gives off strong 2010s R&B vibes, like something you’d hear from K. Michelle or Tamar Braxton. There are a few songs on the album with that classic R&B feel, where Chloë’s really pouring her heart out. And as always, her vocals are incredible—no surprise there. I also loved the variety she brought with the uptempo tracks. “Boy by” and “Favorite” with Anderson .Paak are definite standouts. “Strawberry Lemonade” was a cute, fun track, and “Shake” featuring Jeremih is super catchy. She even threw in some Caribbean-inspired vibes with “Never Let You Go” featuring YG Marley, which I really enjoyed. And then there’s “Redemption”—I just wish it was longer because it’s so good! But overall, I’m really impressed with the diversity on this album. The song she did with Ty Dolla $ign, “Might as Well,” was also a highlight—it’s like a much better version of “Cheat Back.” All in all, I’m really happy with this album. It’s a solid R&B project, and Chloë should be so proud of what she’s created. I really hope this album gets the recognition it deserves because she’s absolutely earned it.
It’s really a shame that this album didn’t get the promotion it needed. Honestly, I don’t know what’s going on with these record labels lately. Chloë is signed to Parkwood, with Columbia Records as the parent label, so Columbia should be the one funding and promoting her music. But it’s pretty clear they’re not really invested. You can just tell. At least she’s still able to release music, which is something, and she’s got a good track record with touring, so she could easily hit the road and make some money. She’ll always be profitable in that way. Still, I really wish the label had given this album more attention. But, I have a feeling people will catch on eventually, and it’ll grow organically.

Now, onto this troubling story about Kanye West. There are claims that Kanye is hooked on nitrous oxide—laughing gas—and that his addiction has gotten so bad that he could end up with brain damage or even die within five years. His dentist, Thomas P. Conley, is being accused of supplying him with the gas.
This situation feels eerily similar to what happened with Michael Jackson when his doctor, Conrad Murray, was giving him propofol, which eventually led to his cardiac arrest. Honestly, I wouldn’t be shocked if Kanye ends up in a similar situation because he’s really angered some powerful people. It’s like they’ve been waiting for the right moment to take him down, but they want to do it in a way that doesn’t look too obvious. That’s just my take on it. If they can push him into addiction and get him to a point where he loses control and signs away his rights, it’d be perfect for them. They could just sit back and watch him spiral, then profit from his downfall. It’s what they do to all the greats—once they start to decline, the industry thinks, “Well, they’d be worth more dead than alive, so let’s make it happen.”
Something really unsettling seems to be happening with Kanye West. Remember when his former personal trainer, Harley Pasternak, threatened to have him institutionalized? Kanye even accused him of stalking him in another country, which was pretty alarming. It shows just how desperate some people were to control Kanye because he was speaking out too much.
Now, Kanye’s former chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos—a pretty controversial figure, but apparently someone who cares about Kanye—is making some serious claims. Milo says that Kanye’s dentist, Thomas P. Conley, has been giving him nitrous gas, also known as laughing gas. While it’s supposed to make you feel relaxed and a bit euphoric, long-term use can actually cause nerve and brain damage. Kanye has apparently been using this gas for a while now. He even talked about it on his Instagram story and in an interview back in 2015. It’s hard to say if he was addicted then, but allegedly, he’s really struggling with it now.
Kanye once said something like, “Ran Garcia, this yay, I’m on the nitrous, and I was at the dentist’s office the other day. I was taking nitrous oxide. I suggest if anybody’s stressed out…”

Milo has taken this seriously enough to file a complaint with the California Dental Board. He even signed an affidavit accusing Thomas Conley of being unethical. Milo claims that this dentist is charging Kanye over $50,000 a month just to keep supplying the gas. In a post, Milo said, “There’s a reason Kanye, or yay, as he’s now known, is struggling to release music or clothing successfully. And while there are a lot of reasons, the most serious one is his dentist, Thomas Conley. Conley got yay hooked on nitrous gas. I believe Conley wanted to weaken yay’s mental state so that he and his associates could take millions from him. Earlier this year, I found out about the fraud and stepped in. Yay being hooked on nitrous actually ended our relationship because he proposed something I had to resign over, knowing full well I would. He brought back this idea of making porn, which I still can’t understand, but anyway, Conley is a dangerous predator. He targets African-American celebrities and even put fake diamonds in their mouths, like he did with Lotti. This guy needs to be stopped, and that’s why I filed a complaint with the California Dental Board last week.”
This whole situation is seriously troubling and raises big questions about the people around Kanye and what their true motives might be.
In his complaint, he claimed that a dentist named Conley had moved into the same apartment complex as Kanye. He went on to say that someone saw Conley delivering four tanks of nitrous gas to Kanye’s home in just one day. Kanye was allegedly using the gas by himself, with no doctor or healthcare provider supervising him, which is definitely illegal. Milo also touched on this in his complaint. He said, “Around that time, one of the junior staff members admitted he saw Conley carrying four large surgical tanks of nitrous oxide into Bianca’s apartment building. Something told him to take a couple of photos. When confronted, Conley admitted he brought the canisters to Kanye’s home, but absurdly insisted they were empty and had always been empty. An employee, who wishes to remain anonymous, told me over the phone that they personally witnessed Kanye self-administering the nitrous gas provided by Conley. Most disturbing of all, I found out that Conley had moved into the same apartment building Kanye was living in during this time. There’s no doubt in my mind that he was aware of Kanye’s psychological vulnerabilities and was trying to exploit them. Payment records from Yeezy LLC show hundreds of thousands of dollars paid to Conley, including $257,000 on January 7th for dental work, followed by another $61,000 for anesthesia two weeks later on January 29th, also marked as dental work. And these are just two of many payments. Conley may have done irreparable damage to the mind of one of the world’s most talented musicians and probably its most successful fashion designer. There’s no medical reason for having four surgical-sized canisters of nitrous gas at any patient’s home, and there’s definitely no explanation for Conley moving into the same building as Kanye. This situation is extremely sinister. The actions of men like Conley are a matter for federal law enforcement, not just celebrity managers or dental boards. I strongly urge the California Dental Board to suspend this man’s license immediately.”
There’s a lot more in the affidavit, but these are the most disturbing details. It looks like Kanye is really falling apart, and now he’s being exploited and taken advantage of. He’s not managing his business well at all. Everyone around him seems to be draining his money, and he’s basically high on laughing gas, living in a completely different reality. Kanye is in a dangerous place where he could end up broke or even worse, and it’s heartbreaking to watch. I really hope someone steps in soon because this is bad—really bad. Michael Jackson bad.
