Jeannie Mai and Jeezy officially ended their marriage in June 2024, wrapping up what turned out to be a long, bitter divorce. Jeannie has said she was completely blindsided by Jeezy’s decision to file for divorce, finding out about it at almost the same time as everyone else. She described the experience as heartbreaking, saying she never saw it coming.
Even after the divorce was finalized, there were still lingering issues, including Jeannie’s belongings, which were still at the home they once shared. A judge gave her 21 days to pick up her things, but Jeezy requested changes to the court order. He claimed he didn’t feel safe letting her into the house, alleging that she had tried to damage his career in the past by planting cameras and recording devices in their home. As a result, Jeezy reportedly packed up her things and left them in the garage for her to collect.
When Jeannie arrived to pick up her belongings, things took a turn. She claimed the house manager initially refused to let her in, even after seeing the court order. It wasn’t until she called the police that she was allowed access to the garage. To make matters worse, Jeannie said her items were in terrible condition—boxes were wet, mice had chewed through them, and some of her expensive things, like luxury bags and Hermes items, were scratched and ruined. She also mentioned that the house manager tried to make her sign a non-disclosure agreement before letting her in, adding even more frustration to the situation.
Jeannie later said that Jeezy’s refusal to follow the court order caused her significant emotional and financial stress, racking up legal bills in the process. Her lawyer argued that Jeezy’s actions were driven by anger and revenge after the split, though Jeezy insisted his concerns were valid and justified.
The whole ordeal painted a picture of how messy things had gotten between the two, even after their marriage was over, leaving both sides with unresolved tension and accusations.
This whole situation is just so unfortunate, especially for their daughter, Monaco. As she grows up, she might come across these events, and it could really impact how she feels about everything—and about her parents.
So, what do you all think? Is Jeannie the one being bitter here, or is it Jeezy? Honestly, Jeezy’s actions seem way more bitter to me. I mean, why go to such lengths? Destroying her stuff when you’re the one who filed for divorce and basically kicked her out? It doesn’t make sense.

If he didn’t want anything to do with her, why scratch her belongings, damage her things, and not even make sure they were properly packed? He knew she was coming to get them. The least he could’ve done was have them packed neatly in boxes—he could’ve had his house manager handle it, for all we know. But to leave her things in a way that pretty much guaranteed they’d get ruined? That feels intentional.
I really want to hear what you think. Let me know in the comments! Don’t forget to hit subscribe, turn on your notifications, and I’ll catch you in the next one.
Now, switching gears a bit—hey, everyone! London in the house! Oh wait, Tora Ramen? Is that in Boston? Someone let me know because if it is, I need to try it.
Good morning, by the way!
Quick question: how many of you are into water-based foundations? That’s been my thing lately. I’ve started using just a tiny bit, and honestly, I don’t even do a full face anymore. The weather here in Boston is so perfect—this fresh spring vibe—that I’m keeping it super light.
I just dab a little on my sunspots, and that’s it. The coverage is so thin and natural, and it feels amazing. I don’t know about you, but I’ve been finger-blending or lightly sponging under my eyes. It blends so well that I skip the rest of my face. Less is more these days!
Oh, and yes, I’m from the Bay Area—Bay all day, baby! I rep the Bay so hard that I’ve actually thought about opening a restaurant there someday.
I have so many places I want to travel to, but—hold up! Be right back; I’m still on my live.
Okay, I’m back! Where was I? Oh right, makeup. So lately, I’ve been applying foundation first and then patting sunscreen on top. Random, but turning 40 has made me really think about self-care—from the inside out.
When I’m stressed (and trust me, I’ve been stressed lately), it shows. Like, do you see this breakout? Stress doesn’t just show on your skin—it’s on the inside too. I get brain fog, feel groggy, and even deal with digestion issues sometimes. It’s awful.
I think it’s partly from not sleeping regularly and all the travel I do. Planes mess you up!
That’s why I’ve been using Dox—huge shoutout to them for sponsoring. This stuff is amazing, and I literally don’t travel without it. Hold on, let me grab it—here it is! If you haven’t tried it yet, you need to. It’s a game-changer!
I take two of these soft chews, and they’re actually pretty tasty. Then, I feel some quick, gentle relief—it’s not stressful at all, and I notice it working right away.
I just realized, I used to use all sorts of skincare to try and get that perfect, glowy look on the outside. But if I don’t feel fresh and clean on the inside, I start thinking, “Something’s off.” You know what I mean?
Wait, Ashindo Ramen? Hold on, are you saying your daughter runs that place in Boston? I don’t even have my notes, but that sounds amazing!

Oh, and shoutout to Porsa! Hey girl, what’s up?
Seriously though, when I hydrate, mind my own business, and get everything in order, I feel so good. It’s like everything just clicks, and it’s the best feeling.
Once my skin’s on track, I’ve been loving moisturizing foundations lately. I’m all about that glowy, dewy look—you get what I mean, right? It’s everything.
I used to apply blush here, but now I wear it here for a more youthful vibe. It gives me a little lift, and I love that shine. Can you see it?
And my contour—always liquid or cream, just a tiny bit. Oh my god, thank you!
“40 is the new 20,” Vash? Vi? Honestly, I feel better now than I did in my 20s. I think it’s because back then, I was drowning in products I thought I needed, but really didn’t.
Now, I keep it simple. That’s my makeup routine.
