DaniLeigh, citing a lack of alternatives and support, refused to comply, opting not to subject her daughter to the inconvenience of relocating to a hotel. Predictably, tensions escalated, leading DaBaby to involve law enforcement. TMZ reports that DaniLeigh now faces two misdemeanor assault charges stemming from the incidents.
Let me be unequivocal: I unequivocally condemn all forms of domestic abuse, regardless of the perpetrator’s gender. Violence has no place in any relationship. While I won’t excuse Dani’s actions, it’s doubtful that DaBaby felt genuinely threatened by her. This is the same individual who claimed self-defense after a fatal altercation in a Walmart and has a history of physical altercations, including with a female fan. Therefore, DaBaby’s decision to pursue charges against DaniLeigh appears more driven by spite than genuine concern for his safety. He seems intent on tarnishing her reputation by any means necessary.

My personal speculation is that DaBaby orchestrated these events to bolster publicity for his upcoming tour and to extricate Dani from his life. Despite Dani relocating from LA to Charlotte to cohabit with him and assume a domestic role, DaBaby evidently maintained liaisons with other women, notably his ex-partner Mimi. His behavior suggests an aversion to commitment, treating all his partners uniformly. Despite this reality, Dani nurtured the notion that she was an exception, bolstered by her status and appearance. She disregarded her secondary position, persisting in her pursuit to be his primary companion, even engaging in clandestine provocations towards Mimi. It’s worth noting that Mimi preceded Dani in DaBaby’s life, solidifying her status as his primary partner. Nonetheless, Dani’s ego stubbornly refuses to acknowledge this reality, insisting on her desired status and even resorting to undermining Mimi covertly.
So, whoever you are, you don’t have the authority to have an issue with me. This girl has been constantly attacking me, taking jabs, being disrespectful, and I have the evidence. I choose not to reveal it because it serves me no purpose. I gain nothing from it, no satisfaction whatsoever. I don’t have sympathy for anyone who comes at me with disrespect. And especially in this case, it’s clear as day. I was his girlfriend. I was living with him. You were sending messages referencing me, my photos, my Twitter, everything about me. You knew about me, but I had no clue who you were until the whole world pieced it together.
According to Mimi, Dani knew about me and DaBaby being together. So, I find it hard to feel sorry for Dani because there were so many warning signs that she chose to ignore. And because of that, she ended up being humiliated. DaBaby disrespected her right in front of her, telling her she was never his girl, just a side piece.
