CH: It seems like being in jail isn’t stopping Ca Rock from getting into drama. She just went off on Bad Baby’s baby daddy, Leavon, after Bad Baby exposed him for putting his hands on her. A lot of people were already saying that Bad Baby and Leavon’s relationship was bound to end badly, especially after a video of them fighting in a restaurant went viral a few months ago.
But before we could even wrap our heads around that, Croan jumped into the mess from jail, and people wasted no time dragging her for it. Given that Croan and Bad Baby are apparently friends in real life and that Croan is in a relationship herself, it wasn’t all that surprising to see her defend Bad Baby so quickly.
For those who don’t know, Bad Baby blew up on social media a few days ago when she posted videos and pictures showing her baby daddy, Leavon, abusing her at home. In the first video, you can see her lying on the floor while Leavon keeps kicking and hitting her. She followed up with photos of her face all bruised, including a nasty black eye from Leavon. She also called out Leavon for trying to take their daughter away from her and revealed that she actually broke up with him in May to escape the abuse, but clearly, that didn’t change anything.
“This guy thinks he can just take my daughter away, but trying to separate me from my baby is just not right. Leavon and I haven’t really been together since May.
She also posted a longer message where she talked about how these physical fights with Leavon have been happening for a while, but this time was the worst. She mentioned he’s already looking to get help to control his temper.
“I love him more than anything, which makes this all so sad. But this is real life, and leaving isn’t as easy as it sounds. These blow-ups don’t happen all the time, but Leavon definitely has issues. He’s going to get the help he needs. There’s no room for mistakes now, and he knows that. Whoever’s there for me will support me no matter what I decide. I’ve always had his back, but this time, there’s no excuse. I shared this not to bash him, but to make him see how wrong this is and take responsibility to change.”
When Bad Baby shared all this, some people understood, but especially Black women found it hard to sympathize because of her past remarks disrespecting Black women, despite her attempts to embrace Black culture. Remember when she once ignorantly said, ‘Who wants to be Black?’ and disrespected Lil’ Kim?”
“Seriously, who would actually want to be Black? I just can’t wrap my head around that. It’s beyond me. Why would anyone choose that? Everything I do is rooted in my Black identity—it’s who I am. Even if I tried to change my appearance with a blonde wig, blue contacts, and powdered my face white like they did in the old days, people would still accuse me of trying to be something I’m not. And what’s wrong with using a darker foundation? Lil’ Kim does it too.”
Now, no one’s excusing her past as an ignorant teenager with a big mouth just because she got attacked by her baby daddy. But you can understand why Black women might hesitate to defend her. Of course, she has her supporters, including Croan.
You know Croan’s in jail awaiting trial, but somehow she managed to get a hold of a cell phone and hopped on Twitter to show Bad Baby some love after she posted those photos of her being mistreated by Leavon. She tagged Bad Baby in a tweet with prayer hands and a teary-eyed emoji. People were shocked to see this, but others weren’t surprised because Ca and Bad Baby have actually been close friends behind the scenes for a while now. Some even speculated that Croan would have confronted Leavon herself if she didn’t have her own legal troubles to deal with, given she’s also in a toxic relationship and can relate to what Bad Baby is going through
As many of you probably know, Croan and Blue have gained quite a reputation on social media for their turbulent relationship, which sadly includes instances of domestic violence. They’ve both been guilty of physically attacking each other, and shockingly, they’d even record these altercations and post them online as if it were normal. Remember that time when Croan publicly attacked Blue, and he had to restrain her to calm things down?
Then there’s that disturbing video where Croan threw a glass at Blue because she wanted him off Instagram Live, but he refused. The tension and threats in that moment were chilling.
And it doesn’t end there. There was an incident where Blue tricked Croan into coming over, claiming it was to see their child, but instead, he physically assaulted her, leaving her with bruises. Despite talk of filing a police report, Croan didn’t follow through and ended up going back to him.
It’s a troubling situation that’s been playing out in the public eye, showing a disturbing cycle of conflict and aggression between them.
“I went to see Blueface because he said he wanted to see his son, but things turned violent. He started hitting me, punching me in the stomach and face. I told him I would leave when I was ready, waiting for my ride. I was in pain, but I stayed until my brothers were out. Throughout it all, I insisted I wouldn’t leave until the police arrived. He’s going to face consequences for assaulting me while our son was there. It’s just unbelievable. He was acting out of control, even making threats. No way was I leaving before the cops showed up. Why did he start shooting? It’s too much.”
Gossip of the City, a popular gossip page, also shared close-up photos showing Blue’s fingers, clearly marked with bite stains from Croan. This is why Croan is stepping up for Bad Baby now, even offering support from jail.
While many support Croan standing up for her friend, others are concerned. They think Croan might not be the best influence for Bad Baby right now, given her history of tolerating Blue’s behavior. Some comments reflect this worry, like one saying, “If Croan’s in your corner, you’re in trouble.” Another said, “People are focused on Croan, but I can’t stop thinking about Bad Baby saying she loves him more than herself. That’s concerning.”
