It seemed like there was a reservoir of bitterness waiting to overflow, and it left a sour taste. Moreover, I was put off by one of the other hosts, Al, laughing along. What was that about? The atmosphere was undeniably hostile and repugnant. Funky Dineva’s attempt at an apology, prompted by a higher authority, fell short of sincerity. It was evident that his words stemmed from a place of genuine belief. He’s accustomed to mocking and disrespecting black women; it’s his modus operandi.
Halle and Chloe did offer responses. Chloe, with a touch of humor, quipped, “LOL, people be so mad at your happiness. Get help.” Meanwhile, Halle remarked, “They need help immediately.” Chloe also shared a poignant quote on her Instagram story, advocating for self-confidence in the face of criticism. Chloe doesn’t deserve such treatment. Yet, I admire her resilience in the face of adversity. Currently, she’s embarked on the second leg of her tour, consistently selling out shows and asserting her dominance in the industry. So, hate all you want, but she’s undeniably winning.
