Instead, she’s justifying her actions, even resorting to quoting scripture. Personally, I find it irritating when people invoke religion to justify their deceit. Carly doesn’t seem to be wrestling with any real remorse. She got the attention she craved, wasting valuable police resources in the process, resources that could have been used to aid genuine victims in need. It’s truly lamentable that she diverted attention from those who are actually suffering from human trafficking, turning their plight into a spectacle. It’s utterly repugnant.

I genuinely pray for her and her family to come clean about everything, and I pray for Carly’s mindset because God will address them just like everyone who knows Carly personally and everyone who has genuinely cared about her well-being from the start. We genuinely thought she was missing, like everyone else on my timeline. We were clueless too, but my heart goes out to my brother, Tamara Trail Simmons. I hate to see my family endure unnecessary hardships. But he’ll be okay, and we’ll be okay regardless. I’m proud of him. He did his part as a real man, tirelessly searching for his girlfriend like any concerned boyfriend would. But as I said, God is turning this situation around for our benefit.
