Beyoncé’s influence in the entertainment industry is legendary, and she’s rightfully recognized as one of the most admired figures in pop culture. Her fans adore her, and even top celebrities often express their respect for her. But in recent years, something interesting has been happening: people have started a playful trend on TikTok, constantly thanking Beyoncé in over-the-top ways, almost like she has some magical power over everyone in showbiz.
Today, we’re looking at why Beyoncé is such a huge cultural force and why this “Thank you, Beyoncé” trend has taken off. It’s all in good fun, of course, and we’re not getting into conspiracy theories here. We’re not saying there’s anything mystical behind her influence—no talk about the Illuminati! But the way people talk about her can feel surreal, almost as if thanking Beyoncé has become a pop culture ritual.
Beyoncé has certainly earned her place as an icon. She’s done a ton for music, for women, and for representation of Black women. While the praise she receives is absolutely deserved, there are times when the thank-yous feel almost scripted, like everyone’s in on the same joke. So, is it all just part of the meme, or is Beyoncé’s influence even bigger than we realize?
“People always talk about Beyoncé like she has this cosmic influence over women everywhere, as if she’s not just a superstar but a true queen of our world. I even remember Ed Sheeran telling me, “You’re the biggest female artist out there,” and I just had to laugh and correct him: “Uh, no, that would be Beyoncé. Obviously.”
Then, The Guardian recently said I’m “making the best pop music on the planet.” But honestly, as long as Beyoncé’s around, that crown sits with her. I mean, even just thinking about her upcoming album has me both excited and nervous! It’s going to be fire. But should she really be dropping something that hot during a heatwave?

And that reminds me of one of my all-time favorite Grammy moments: Adele’s 2017 acceptance speech. She dedicated her Grammy win to Beyoncé, calling her “the artist of my life.” Adele was so moved by Beyoncé’s Lemonade album that she got choked up on stage, thanking her for making music that empowers not only Adele herself but also her friends and fans. There were even rumors that Adele broke her Grammy in half to share it with Beyoncé as a symbol of her respect.
And Lizzo—she had her own powerful moment in 2023, calling out to Beyoncé in the middle of her speech. Lizzo was tearing up, remembering how in fifth grade, she skipped school just to watch Beyoncé perform. She described how Beyoncé’s music, especially her gospel medleys, changed her life and made her want to give that same feeling to others through her own music.
Then, of course, there’s Kanye’s unforgettable interruption at the 2009 VMAs, where he stormed the stage during Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech to declare that “Beyoncé had one of the best videos of all time.” It was like he was on a mission to make sure that Beyoncé’s greatness was acknowledged in every corner of the industry.
Moments like these show how much Beyoncé truly means to her fans and her fellow artists. She’s not just admired; she’s celebrated like a queen, and it’s no wonder we see her that way. Beyoncé isn’t just a pop star—she’s the icon.”
“Yo, Taylor, I’m really happy for you. I’m gonna let you finish…” But looking at Kanye in that moment, he seems so different from the Kanye we see today. It almost feels staged, but let’s be real—Beyoncé really did have one of the best videos of all time. And Kanye’s hair that night? Not his best look. But seriously, it was a legendary video. It’s pretty normal for artists to pay tribute to those they admire, but when you see those award show compilations, it raises questions about whether other artists are intimidated by Beyoncé.
Now, should I take a moment to thank Beyoncé for my YouTube success? She’s had such a massive influence on me—right alongside Gaga and our next performer. It’s funny because—wait, is this her acceptance speech? No, no, it can’t be! Beyoncé and I kicked off our careers around the same time, and just like all her fans, I fell in love with her from the first moment I saw her. She sings, dances, acts—she’s a total triple threat and so incredibly talented.
You know, it feels like we haven’t seen Beyoncé do an interview in ages. What do you all think? Comment below! I’ve been lucky enough to witness her gifts up close, and I can honestly say she’s an incredible artist and a genuinely kind person. Take Lady Gaga, for example—some people might pretend everything’s fine, but I’ve heard she actually isn’t too keen on revisiting “Telephone,” the song she did with Beyoncé. Not sure if you’ve heard that.
Beyoncé truly is one of a kind; there’s nobody else like her. Someone commented, “Britney and Gaga didn’t want to say that,” and another person asked, “What kind of hold does Beyoncé have on these people? Why does everyone in entertainment seem to defer to her?” Let’s dig into some more examples.
“I love that song! It’s amazing. I love you, Beyoncé. Thanks for putting that out!”
Then at Coachella, we heard, “I’m sorry I’m not Beyoncé,” and “I love you tonight.” Why is Billie Eilish apologizing for not being Beyoncé? “Thank you, Beyoncé, for an incredible Coachella performance; you’re the only one who can pull off the Minion look!” It’s clear that the whole “Thank you, Beyoncé” trend has been around for a while. But now, with all the buzz about Jay-Z and his connections to Diddy, people are starting to look at Beyoncé a bit differently. She often references religious and historical figures in her music, much like other artists—just think about Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse.” This isn’t the first time Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been faced with conspiracy theories. But this “Thank you, Beyoncé” thing is reaching new levels.

And then there’s Beyoncé and Jay-Z sitting together at the table, right? They’re pretty much the king and queen of America. You know she’s out there, but it’s always a surprise when you realize, “Whoa, that was her!” It’s like she’s always lurking, ready to make her presence felt.
“I have to say, that’s a bit creepy because—wait, is she always watching? Thank you, Beyoncé! I admire her work ethic, the way she carries herself. My mom always says, ‘Megan, what would Beyoncé do?’ She shows us what you can create when you truly give your all and allow space for others to shine. Yo, Happy Birthday, Beyoncé!”
You can’t deny it—Beyoncé is just on another level. She’s in a league of her own, completely incomparable. Maybe it’s time for me to say my official “Thank you.” One person commented, “Thank you, Beyoncé; please don’t come after me.” Another asked, “How did we not notice this before?” And that’s a solid question! It seems like someone just had to point out the trend, and once you start looking, it’s clear that nearly everyone has mentioned her at some point.
“Who’s your celebrity crush that’s definitely not your girlfriend? For me, it’s Beyoncé—Beyoncé, Beyoncé, Beyoncé! I remember the first time I saw her and thought, ‘Wow, she’s a star. I want that!’ I used to listen to her music all the time; it was like her name was a catchy tune stuck in my head. Growing up, I think she’s inspired every female artist to reach for the stars and strive to be like her. Beyoncé just knows how to make women dream big. She’s so gorgeous, and honestly, I can’t help but think, ‘I want Beyoncé to be the mother of my kids!’ I’m her number-one fan! If I had to pick a superhero, it would absolutely be Beyoncé. If I could come back in my next life as anyone, it would be her.
Beyoncé is the ultimate icon. One person commented, “I think other artists are scared of what might happen if they outshine Beyoncé. She has the power to make or break careers. It’s crazy. Someday, every celebrity will get exposed for their shady behavior.” That’s a bold statement! Now J. Cole has joined the conversation because of some thought-provoking lyrics in his 2013 song “She Knows.” He hints that Beyoncé might have been aware of some plot involving Jay-Z and Diddy that led to the tragic deaths of certain artists. He even drops names: “The only bad thing about a star is that they burn out. Rest in peace to Aaliyah, Left Eye, and Michael Jackson; I’ll see you soon.” Both Aaliyah and Left Eye passed away under really unusual circumstances, which we’ve talked about on this channel and on my “Let’s Get Into It” podcast.
And it’s pretty wild when even JoJo Siwa is thanking Beyoncé. She said, “I just want to say thank you to Beyoncé!” [Applause] A lot of fans think J. Cole’s song is hinting at something more, especially since Aaliyah, Left Eye, and Michael Jackson all died on the 25th of different months. Is that just a coincidence, or does Beyoncé have a thing for the 25th? Some internet sleuths have even linked Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and Diddy’s shared birth date of the fourth to something darker.
But we have to be clear: there’s no real evidence that these artists are involved in the deaths of Aaliyah, Left Eye, or Michael Jackson, even if some rumors float around about Michael Jackson and Diddy having a connection.
One person speculated, “I think they’re into some Illuminati stuff. They probably have to pledge loyalty to her or thank her in their speeches to get ahead in the industry.” What do you guys think about this conspiracy? Is it really a conspiracy when there’s so much speculation? I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments below.
Alright, that’s it for now! I’ll catch you in a new video soon. Bye, everyone!
