The conflict escalated swiftly from mere trash-talking and leaked messages to Cardi viciously targeting Akbar’s mother when Akbar suggested in a tweet that Cardi and her sister Hennessy were assaulted. “Listen, sister, stand tall. I’m calling you out. I need to see your strength. Unlike you, I don’t air out family business. You brought my kids into this mess, plastered images all over. Well, that’s what happens, right? I remember when you did something similar last year, and folks called you out for it. Now, you’re shedding tears over the same thing. I have no sympathy for you.
