Jay-Z’s career really took off once he got together with Beyoncé. He’s racked up about 16 or 17 Grammys since they’ve been a couple. If you look back at his career before that, the difference is pretty clear. Even their kids have Grammys now, and they haven’t even started singing or rapping yet! It’s like some relationships just give you a huge boost.
But lately, there have been rumors that Jay-Z and Beyoncé have been living separate lives for a while now. Their perfect love story might be going through some rough times, according to 50 Cent.
The gossip really picked up after Jay-Z’s strange Grammy speech this year, where he called Beyoncé “this young lady,” and she looked pretty upset. These rumors aren’t exactly new, though. Ever since Jay-Z admitted to cheating, Beyoncé’s whole vibe has changed. Plus, there’s talk that Jay-Z might get exposed like Diddy did, which could be a big deal for Beyoncé’s public image. And now, 50 Cent is stirring the pot by claiming that Jay-Z controls Beyoncé with substances and keeps a close watch on her every move.
But the burning question is: Is Beyoncé an innocent victim of Jay-Z’s alleged manipulation, or is she complicit in all the controversies he’s being accused of? Let’s break it down. Jay-Z and his associates were working together, so it’s likely they still have some unresolved issues with me. Remember how Jay-Z and Beyoncé used to be seen as this untouchable power couple? Anyone saying anything negative about them was instantly labeled a hater. Well, that untouchable image is starting to crumble. Recently, insiders from the industry have been sharing some pretty disturbing stories about the real Jay and Bey. And guess who’s leading the charge? None other than 50 Cent.

Apparently, he’s got a ton of dirt on Jay-Z and Beyoncé, including allegations of their involvement in crimes similar to those associated with Diddy. For some context: 50 Cent and Jay-Z have had a simmering feud for over two decades. It started with 50 taking shots at Jay in his 1999 song “How to Rob,” and Jay firing back in “It’s Hot” with that infamous line, “I’m about a dollar, what the f*** is 50 Cent?” Fast forward to 2002, and Jay did an interview with Angie Martinez, claiming he and 50 were all good. “We were on the side of the stage talking about the whole thing,” Jay said. “He was like, ‘Wait, who, you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, yeah, you know, I respect your record. Yeah, I like that record. It was hot, but you know I got to spank you, dawg.'” That was the conversation. “No doubt, do your thing,” Jay said, giving a peace sign. But it turns out it wasn’t all rainbows and sunshine because Jay kept sneak-dissing 50, and then 50 fired back, accusing Jay of basically buying his way to the top.
There’s a huge difference in international recognition between 50 Cent and Jay-Z. Jay’s top-selling record sold 430,000 copies, while my two biggest records, “Get Rich or Die Tryin'” and “The Massacre,” each sold 5 million. This clearly shows that we’re on different levels globally. People in America might think there’s a competition between us, but that’s just because of marketing dollars.
50 Cent has also been vocal about his issues with Jay-Z, particularly his ego. In a 2009 Rolling Stone interview, 50 said, “He has a king complex. He thinks he’s effing Jesus, this Jehovah.” He also accused Jay of betraying Beanie Sigel, a former Roc-A-Fella artist, saying, “Jay was all about the Roc-A-Fella family, but he was really just using them for his own gain. He didn’t care about their interests; he was looking out for himself.”
It’s not just 50 Cent throwing shade. Beyoncé’s rumored former bodyguard, Uncle Ron, went viral on TikTok with claims that Jay and Beyoncé have sabotaged many artists over the years. He even alleged that their marriage is just a business arrangement. “I know so much about you and what you’ve done,” he said. “You stepped on many people, Beyoncé, like how you ended Keri Hilson’s career because she said something about you. That’s how ruthless you are.”
Jaguar Wright, who used to be in Jay-Z’s circle and worked as his background singer, also had a lot to say. She claimed that people close to Jay, like the late rapper Big L, either died under suspicious circumstances or saw their careers tank just so Jay could rise to the top. “The first time I saw Jay-Z was at an MC battle in New York. He wasn’t known as Jay-Z then; he was ‘the guy with Big L.’ Rest in peace, Big L, one of the greatest. Big L put Jay-Z on. After Big L died, Jay-Z started rising and collaborating with Tupac and Biggie.”

Beyoncé has faced some strange accusations over the years. There have been rumors about her being involved in witchcraft and making sacrifices, and what’s surprising is that these claims come from people who worked closely with her. For instance, back in 2018, her former drummer, Kimberly Thompson, accused her of practicing extreme witchcraft and even filed for a restraining order. Thompson said, “This has been going on since 2006, and it’s just been getting worse. For a long time, I admired this person. I publicly wished them ‘Happy Birthday’ and all, but the entire time, this person was casting spells, manipulating me, controlling my job situations, my relationships, and various other aspects of my life.”
Kanye West also added fuel to the fire by suggesting that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are controlled by elite forces. He pointed out that people connected to these celebrities often end up dead or missing. “They can’t control me. They can control Shaq, Charles Barkley, LeBron James, Jay-Z, and Beyoncé, but they can’t control me,” Kanye said. “In Hollywood, a lot of people go missing. It seems like it’s part of a method to control and traumatize people. They want to monetize and traumatize.”
More recently, Beyoncé’s former dance captain, Ashley Everett, was caught liking some shady posts and comments about Beyoncé, including claims that her music is demonic. One post referred to a speech by poet Jackie Hill Perry, who argued that artists like Beyoncé are being used to promote a demonic agenda. “Who told us that you have to engage in witchcraft to be black? That idea still spreads the white supremacist lie that black people in Africa didn’t know Jesus. I’m frustrated with social media, culture, and music promoting the notion that all spiritualism is the same. In our desire to avoid being legalistic, we’ve embraced profanity.”
And then there’s 50 Cent, who once shared a story about Beyoncé confronting him during his feud with Jay-Z. He described her behavior as almost possessed. “So Beyoncé jumped down on you?” he was asked. “Yeah, she jumped down. We were in Vegas, and she was on a window sill. She said, ‘Come on,’ and I’m talking to her. She jumped out, and I’m like, ‘What are you doing?’ This is between me and Jay-Z. Don’t get involved.” 50 Cent continued, “She came over like she was ready for something to happen. It threw me off because I didn’t know how to respond.”
It looks like 50 Cent isn’t ready to make peace with Jay-Z and Beyoncé anytime soon. He believes they prioritize business over everything and everyone else. In a recent interview on Big Boy TV, 50 Cent made a startling claim that Jay-Z tried to use his NFL connections to sabotage his performance at the 2022 Super Bowl. However, Eminem intervened, giving an ultimatum: no performance unless 50 Cent was included. “Jay-Z and them were putting it together, so I think they still harbor some energy towards me,” 50 said. When asked if he thought he was purposely left out of the ad, he responded, “No, no, I don’t think. I think they were saying the NFL has some issues with me that… I don’t know what those issues are. Like, I don’t—what is the issue?”
Additionally, during an appearance on The Beat with Ari Melber, 50 Cent talked about the Billboard list that ranked Jay-Z as the number one greatest rapper of all time. He implied that Jay-Z might have secured the top spot because of his business skills rather than his talent. “Oh, talent? Nas the best. Jay-Z, good business. ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’, classic,” 50 remarked.

Rumors are also swirling that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s marriage is on shaky ground. Some sources claim that Beyoncé is preparing for a potential divorce that could be monumental. There’s talk that Jay’s longtime friend, Diddy, is seeking revenge and ready to expose Jay’s secrets. There’s also buzz that Beyoncé might want to distance herself from the marriage before Jay’s alleged scandals come to light. The story about Jay-Z allegedly deleting his rumored mistress, Kathy White, has resurfaced after being buried for years. It seems like new allegations against Jay are emerging daily. So, does this mean Beyoncé is planning her exit strategy? It’s possible. While their marriage might seem like a business arrangement, it’s hard to believe Beyoncé would risk her career and reputation if Jay were to be exposed as another Diddy.
However, some fans believe Beyoncé will never leave Jay because she might be complicit in his shady dealings. This could be what 50 Cent was hinting at when he suggested Jay hides behind his wife’s image. “Jay’s career—you can look at that and say the association with Beyoncé is when he started to receive the 16, got 16, 17 Grammys since he’s been with Beyoncé, right? And if you go prior to that, you see what I’m saying? So that came in association. Like, you see, the kids even have Grammys. They don’t sing yet, they don’t rap yet, and they already have Grammys,” 50 pointed out.
One fan commented, “Jay is a monster. B is just the monster’s right hand. You all need to listen to this man and many others. These people that you literally idolize are evil.” Another added, “Beyoncé is not so innocent. She knew what Jay and P. Diddy were doing and never spoke up. Now she wants to divorce Jay? Yeah, right.”
