Hey everyone, welcome to this exciting channel! Lizzo caused quite a stir online when she showed up at the Lakers game with her backside exposed. Her bold fashion choice sparked a huge discussion, catapulting her to the number one spot on Twitter’s trending topics. Unfortunately, the conversation wasn’t all positive, as some users began criticizing and comparing her to wrestler Rikishi. Seeing this negativity, I had to take a break from the internet – it can be such a harsh place. Let me share with you some of the tweets I came across.

What you witnessed were various reactions on Twitter, with many individuals resorting to joking and trolling, while others took it to the extreme by body-shaming Lizzo. Here’s my take on it: Lizzo isn’t doing anything drastically different from numerous other rappers, singers, and entertainers who often flaunt their assets in public. However, the intense backlash against Lizzo primarily stems from society’s discomfort with plus-sized women proudly displaying their bodies.

Critically, though, I believe Lizzo’s choice of attire wasn’t suitable for the occasion. Being at a basketball game, where families and children are present, doesn’t necessitate revealing outfits to garner attention. Yet, it seems Lizzo opted for this attire as part of a calculated marketing strategy, coinciding with the release of her “Good as Hell” music video. It aligns with her brand, which champions freedom, body positivity, and confidence. While I admire her message of self-acceptance and empowerment, I question the appropriateness of her outfit for a public event like a basketball game. Sitting bare-bottomed on those seats raises hygiene concerns that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Nevertheless, I respect Lizzo’s confidence and achievements. She’s undeniably talented, and her success doesn’t hinge on such attention-grabbing antics. Her talent alone speaks volumes, and she shouldn’t feel compelled to resort to such measures for validation.

Who I am, the essence of my being and the choices I make as a fully mature woman, may not necessarily ignite inspiration in you. You don’t have to emulate me; instead, embrace your own unique self and never allow anyone to hinder or shame you for being authentic. This is simply who I’ve always been. Now that all eyes are on me, your criticisms hold no weight. They have no power over my life or my emotions. I’ve reached a point of unparalleled happiness, surrounded by love, and my desire is to share that love openly. And as for those who vehemently dislike me, well, they can kiss it goodbye, because their negativity dissipates upon contact. Understand that whatever unfolds on the internet, it cannot shatter my inner peace. I stand firm in my identity, unapologetically flaunting a body and demeanor that defy conventional norms. I refuse to censor myself to conform to societal expectations or because of newfound fame. I won’t diminish my essence to appease those who don’t find me appealing.

I’m choosing to step away from negativity today. Instead, I want to share the incredible joy I’m feeling. Despite waking up with last night’s makeup smudged and morning hair, I feel stunning. Let me give you a glimpse of my new home, complete with a magnificent pool and a king-size bed. I’m truly blessed, and I want you to recognize your blessings too. The fact that you woke up today is a blessing. Even if the weather isn’t perfect, there’s still beauty in it—it’s cleansing. Remember, whatever challenges you’re facing, you have the strength to overcome them and feel amazing again. You deserve to feel incredible. And just as you’re proud of me, I’m proud of you. Life can be tough, but if I can navigate through it, so can you. Lately, life feels like a beautiful dream, but I also remember the darker times—sleeping in my car, feeling hopeless. Yet, even then, I held onto hope, and now, life is beyond my wildest dreams. I’m immensely grateful for the support I’ve received, both online and offline. It’s been a journey, but it’s proof that life can get better.

“Yeah, so I’m going to keep doing whatever I want, and I hope it inspires you to do the same. These are tears of joy, remember I love you, don’t forget it. Had a blast at the Lakers game, big shoutout to the Lakers and my managers Kevin and Ilana for hooking us up. Shelby and I had a blast, sitting next to LeBron was surreal. Got all dolled up, soaked in the atmosphere. Then, enjoying some cheese fries and margaritas, a Lakers dancer approached me saying they wanted to perform to my song ‘Juice.’ I was thrilled, so when they started dancing, I couldn’t help but join in, showing my love and support. Look, anyone who knows me knows I bring the fun wherever I go. That’s just how I am. So, that’s my take on the situation. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below, like, comment, subscribe, and share if you care. Thanks for tuning in, catch you next time. Bye!”
