According to the documents, one of the incidents occurred at the RIT Carlton Hotel, where Jeezy allegedly choked Jeie and pushed her down the stairs. A hotel security guard reportedly witnessed the altercation. Additionally, records indicate that Jeezy verbally abused Jeie, calling her derogatory names and stating he could do better than her. Security intervened and provided assistance to Jeie, who expressed feeling unsafe.
Another incident purportedly occurred three weeks after Jeie welcomed her daughter Monaco in January 2022. During an argument in the car, Jeezy allegedly instructed the driver to exit the vehicle. He proceeded to verbally abuse Jeie, hurling derogatory insults at her, and threatening divorce upon their return. Restraining her in the car against her will, when she attempted to flee, Jeezy reportedly struck her across the eye and cheekbone. Seeking help, they pursued counseling from their pastor and therapist. These instances of domestic violence were disclosed to their pastor, therapist, and Jeie’s confidant, documenting the events with three witnesses. Personally, I find Jeie’s account credible; doubts about its veracity elude me.
Additional allegations emerged on December 17, 2022, involving Jeezy and Jeie at the UNFC event. Allegedly, Jeie accompanied by a friend went to the restroom, which upset Jeezy as he was unaware of her whereabouts for approximately 25 minutes. Upon her return, he insisted they leave the party. While in the car, Jeezy reportedly became verbally abusive and physically aggressive towards Jeie. She claimed to have attempted to leave the vehicle twice, but he forcibly restrained her, tearing her dress in the process and causing injury by digging his fingernails into her skin. She disclosed this incident to a therapist in Jeezy’s presence and also confided in her best friend. Another incident involved Jeezy allegedly causing harm to both Jeie and himself during a golf cart crash.
Jeezy vehemently denies Jeie’s accusations, providing an exclusive statement to The Jasmine Brand. He expressed shock and disappointment at the allegations, emphasizing his commitment to his family, particularly his daughter, amidst ongoing custody battles. He refuted the claims, asserting they were not only false but also an attempt to damage his reputation. He presented evidence, including text messages and the date of a separate incident involving a golf cart crash in June 2022, to counter Jeie’s allegations of domestic violence. However, while this disproves one incident, it does not invalidate Jeie’s other claims, which appear to be supported by evidence.
Firstly, there are three other individuals who can corroborate these instances of domestic violence, including her pastor, therapist, and a close friend. Additionally, there exists an incident report from the Ritz Carlton detailing an altercation that occurred there. This report was filed by a security guard who was informed of the incident by a lounge server who witnessed the event. Let me share the contents of the report with you:
“At approximately 10:21 p.m., a call was received regarding a domestic dispute in the lounge bar. The lounge server reported that Mr. Jenkins had pushed Miss Genie Jenkins down the steps leading to the main lobby. Upon arrival, I observed Mr. and Mrs. Jenkins arguing. I intervened and requested a private conversation with them to avoid disturbing other guests. After some time, I spoke to both guests and advised them to continue their discussion elsewhere. They moved from the hallway to the front desk area. Mr. Jenkins requested assistance with retrieving his belongings, but I had to postpone this due to Mrs. Jenkins raising her voice. Eventually, they moved outside to talk, with Mrs. Jenkins expressing her discomfort being alone with Mr. Jenkins. They later returned to their room, where I accompanied them at Mrs. Jenkins’ request to ensure her safety. After their conversation, Mr. Jenkins informed me he would be getting another room and requested his belongings be prepared at the front desk. I assured Mrs. Jenkins she no longer required assistance, and Mr. Jenkins would collect his new room key at his convenience.”
The situation described does not bode well for Jeezy in the context of their impending divorce. There is significant evidence and testimony that suggests a troubling pattern of behavior.
And Jeezy attempted to pull a fast one, successfully divorcing Jeie Ma before she could take the initiative. He subtly implied that there were issues with Jeie, suggesting infidelity and deceit on her part. Initially, many of us inclined to believe him, as Jeie had acknowledged struggling with anger problems, making it seem plausible that she contributed to their split. I, too, found myself questioning Jeie’s role, knowing firsthand the challenges of managing a fiery temper, a trait I discovered only upon being with Jeezy. He, as my equal and respected partner, would promptly challenge my old habits, refusing to tolerate them, which sometimes triggered heated exchanges. Jeie admitted to similarly provoking Jeezy at times. Yet, this doesn’t justify Jeezy’s resorting to violence. Both harbored tempers, evident in Jeezy’s past arrest for an altercation with his teenage son. They both fueled the toxicity in their marriage. However, Jeezy crossed a line by being physically aggressive, which is inexcusable.
