Hey everyone, welcome. Wendy Williams criticized Maggie Markos’ emotional interview, which left me questioning Wendy’s perspective. In case you missed it, Meghan Markle recently gave a viral interview as part of her and Prince Harry’s documentary, “Harry and Meghan: An African Journey.” Meghan bravely shared her struggles with the relentless scrutiny from the British tabloids.
“When I initially met my now-spouse,” recounted Meghan Markle, “my friends were overjoyed because of my happiness. However, one of my British friends cautioned me, ‘I’m sure he’s wonderful, but beware of the British tabloids—they can wreak havoc on your life.’ Being American, I was quite naive; we don’t have that level of scrutiny there. I couldn’t grasp it. I wasn’t familiar with tabloids, and their impact didn’t register with me. Any woman, especially when pregnant, feels exceptionally vulnerable. That made things incredibly challenging. And then, dealing with a newborn, you know… But I suppose…”
I appreciate your concern, as it’s not often that people inquire about how I’m really doing. Behind the scenes, there’s a lot more going on than meets the eye, and if I were to answer honestly, it wouldn’t be a resounding “yes.” It’s been quite a struggle, to be honest.
Watching Meghan’s situation unfold is undeniably disheartening. I empathize with her deeply. Ever since her marriage into the royal family in 2018, Meghan Markle has been under immense scrutiny. Transitioning from her role as an actress on “Suits” to becoming the Duchess of Sussex completely altered her world. The relentless pressure she faces is palpable. Tabloids like the Daily Mail, the Sun, and the Daily Mirror have incessantly hounded her, crossing boundaries of privacy and respect. The situation has escalated to the point where both Harry and Meghan have resorted to legal action against these tabloids, aiming to put an end to the constant invasion of their privacy and the unjust criticism aimed at Meghan Markle.
It sounds like Meghan Markle is facing a lot of challenges, especially with the intense scrutiny from the British tabloids and the strain on her relationship with her father. It’s understandable that she might be feeling overwhelmed, especially with the added responsibilities of being a new mother and adjusting to her role within the royal family.
Wendy Williams’ perspective seems dismissive of Meghan’s struggles, attributing warnings about marrying Prince Harry to jealousy rather than genuine concern. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, it’s important to consider the broader context of Meghan’s situation and the impact that constant media scrutiny can have on a person’s well-being.
As for the critique of Meghan standing during an interview, it’s worth noting that people have different preferences and styles when it comes to public appearances. It’s not uncommon for individuals to choose to stand during interviews, and Meghan may have had her reasons for doing so.
Overall, empathy and understanding can go a long way in recognizing the challenges that Meghan Markle and other public figures face, regardless of personal opinions or biases.
“Does any of this even make sense? I’m not a celebrity, so I’m a bit lost here. Yeah, you did. You were fully aware of what you were doing, and I respect her for taking charge of the royal situation, but don’t play the sympathy card with us. You knew what you were getting into, sis.
Now, I was really side-eyeing Wendy Williams for this because I expected her to be more understanding, considering she’s been through her own public struggles and has even broken down on interviews before.
“How you doin’?” Oh please, spare me. I orchestrated all of this, but let’s call a spade a spade. No, my name is Wendy Hunter, and so is my son’s. You can’t just erase one part of your life like that.
Then there’s Wendy, the same woman who sobbed about her divorce, about how the whole world knew her husband was cheating and had a child outside their marriage. We empathized with her during those emotional TV moments, but it’s disappointing she can’t extend that same empathy to another woman facing challenges.
Anyway, I genuinely wish Meghan Markle the best because she’s going to need it. It must be tough for her in the royal family; she doesn’t quite fit in, and the media is relentless. They’re trying to do to her what they did to Princess Diana. But I hope she stays resilient.”
Alright, let’s shift gears to another topic – Megan Thee Stallion. Recently, there was some drama between Megan and her makeup artist on Instagram. The makeup artist expressed disappointment for not being credited by Megan. It started when Megan shared a video from her Vogue interview discussing her makeup skills. Her makeup artist, known as A Killer Face, commented, “Makeup by A Killer Face,” to which Megan replied, “And me.” A back-and-forth ensued where A Killer Face pointed out that Megan only added minor touches after he finished, emphasizing the lack of credit. Megan responded, suggesting that it wasn’t a dispute, as she often does her own makeup with occasional touch-ups from him.
This dispute led A Killer Face to express his frustration on Instagram, stating, “I did Megan’s makeup, and she merely touched up her eyebrows and applied her Mac powder, as she usually does.” He emphasized the importance of all artists being recognized and compensated for their work.
To me, this whole situation feels rather trivial, especially considering how the makeup artist blew it out of proportion. As Megan pointed out, he could have easily communicated his feelings through a text rather than getting overly sensitive about it. It’s understandable that he desires recognition for his work, as it helps promote his business, but there are more professional ways to address it.
I find it a bit petty for him to criticize Megan’s makeup routine, especially since he previously acknowledged their collaborative efforts. He even mentioned in one of his posts how they work together on her looks, highlighting her own involvement in the process. So, the competitive tension between them seems unnecessary.
That being said, A Killer Face is undoubtedly skilled, but he should maintain a higher level of professionalism. Megan is his client, and while crediting is important for makeup artists, it’s not obligatory for her to mention him every single time. However, he could have discussed this matter privately with Megan instead of airing it on social media.
It’s worth noting that Megan has indeed tagged him before and mentioned him in her Vogue interview, so it’s not like she hasn’t given him credit at all.
What are your thoughts on this? Do you believe Megan should have credited her makeup artist more, or do you think he was overreacting? Share your opinions in the comments below. Don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe, and feel free to share this video if you found it interesting. Thank you for watching, and I’ll see you next time. Bye!
